History

Established in 2014.

When a beloved local bookstore closed we were devastated. We felt the need to carry on the local bookstore experience in Madison. We started a Kickstarter campaign and thanks to our many generous supporters and volunteers we were able to open Short Stories Community Book Hub. We have a large selection of books and can order books into the store for no extra charge. We have a large community space where musicians play and authors sign books. Additionally our community space can be used to host your next event! We built a store that is both warm and engaging for all ages. Come by, we would love to help you find a book you’re looking for or help you find a new favorite. This bookstore was built by the community for the community. We hope you will stop by!
