Meet the Business Owner

Burt S.

Business Owner

Burt Snider is the chief mechanic and owner of Snider Automotive. In 1983 Burt began working in a body shop which began a life-​long love of automobiles of every make and model. He continued to work in body shops throughout high school and college, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. In 1994 Burt started working as a mechanic at Volvo of Nashville. During his tenure, Burt soon received certification as a Volvo Master Technician, and then as a Volvo Expert Technician in 2002.

In 2004 Burt won the Volvo International Service Training Award (VISTA), the highest award granted to the top 20 mechanics in North America.

Shortly before leaving Volvo of Nashville and opening Snider Automotive from his home in June 2008, he won the VISTA award for the second time.

We have been at our current location on Myatt Drive since June 2009.
