Alex was fantastic! Was referred to him by a friend. We had our upstairs carpet and a few rugs cleaned. Both the carpet and rugs had pet stains and there is no trace of the ‘accidents’ now! Charles was with Alex and he was awesome. He even educated us on maintaining our Rumba. Thanks guys!!! Great pricing and quick service!

Absolutely amazing service. So glad we tried these guys out, my fiancée and I were almost scared off professional carpet cleaning from a different certain palindrome company, and these guys absolutely made up for it!
They were knowledgeable, explained to me things I didn’t know about stain removers and odor destroyers, helped me know ahead of time what to expect, and best of all I saw a HUGE difference! A lot of the wear and tear I thought was permanent damage came right out! I will definitely be using this company again.

Alex was prompt, professional, and more than thorough. A day after the carpets were cleaned, he sent an email to check on the results. That alone is impressive! I contacted him with a couple of questions and he immediately made arrangements to come to the house to see the carpets. I thought the carpets were somewhat streaky, but he explained the cleaning process with intense water spray and showed me the ‘streaks’ would disappear with some vacuuming. And he was correct — they look great and have no streaks. My second question was about a very nasty coffee stain which he had treated before cleaning. It was much improved, but still visible. He again treated it and even left me with a compound to use on it if it comes back. Alex clearly takes pride in his work, answered all my questions, did a great job at a very reasonable price, and I highly recommend him!!!

We were very pleased with the service that we received when we had our sofa cleaned. Alex and his colleague confirmed what materials our sofa was made of as well as what caused the stain before determining what approach to take to clean it. They explained what they were going to do and were very efficient. I would definitely call them again for future carpet or upholstery cleaning needs that I have.

We have used Alex three different times now and found his customer service and work to be excellent. He is always on site during the work. He is very timely and courteous. I would highly recommend him and we continue to use him.

I have had Alex clean my carpets for the past few years and he is by far the best. He is always on time (if not early) and takes time to review the carpets with me before he starts work. While he is great on the carpets in the rooms, he is exceptional on stairs. I can not recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding customer service. I’m an absentee landlord trying to be a good landlord and Alex helped me make that happen. Alas, there have been too many dogs over the years and even after cleaning I have decided to put down new carpets for new tenant. Nevertheless, highly recommend Alex. He was quick, priced fairly and has a degree in forensics! Hopefully, you won’t need the latter knowledge but he really knows his stuff.

We had SteamPlus come to our new home before we moved in. I made the appointment way in advance, and Alex called to confirm the day before. They were on time, and everything went as he had told me it would on the phone. They did a great job, were accommodating to changing requests, explained the process & how the cleaning agents worked. They were professional yet personal. We really liked that this is a family owned and operated business, and that the owner himself was the one doing the job. You can be sure they will do a good job for you!

I have had a few different companies in to clean my carpets, and Alex and his son were BY FAR the nicest, most thorough and most helpful of anyone!
It is Alex’s business, and he is the one who shows up to do the cleaning which is super rare.
I reached out on Wednesday last minute and asked for a Friday appointment and they fit me in even with short notice!
He noticed the hose was pulling up kitty litter, and asked to see my vacuum. He spent time looking over my vacuum and letting me know what was wrong with it. This wasn’t something he HAD to do or was being paid to do. He really was helping me person to person. He even offered to pop the cover off and tool around if I wanted – I knew the vacuum was shot, so I told him not to bother. How cool is that? Very rare in this day and age to have someone actually provide true above and beyond service.
My carpets which were DISGUSTING (cat/​toddler) look like new! The price is very reasonable and matches most of the other places around town – the service you get here is definitely worth the value.

Great job, very professional and thorough with their cleaning. We had carpet and upholstery cleaned. And with young kids and a dog, we had a lot to clean! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Alex provided excellent service and I will use his business again. He was able to work our appt in at the last minute with one day notice. He called 20 minutes before arriving just as others mentioned. He used his special light to see the pet stains so he could treat them. Our finished basement carpet was particularly smelly from pet urine from dogs and a cat that up until its recent passing experienced renal disease and distress. It has been a week since the cleaning and the cleaning has held up. That hasn’t been true for several other carpet companies I’ve used. Alex did take time to explain all manner of the things he was doing but truthfully I don’t really care but I appreciate the intent.

Just moved into a new home and the carpets were much worse then I thought. There was dog hair all over and my wife noticed her allergies bothering her more than normal. We checked Unilocal and found these guys.
We checked around and prices were on the lower end of the competition. Between the Unilocal reviews and the price we figured why not. We had an appointment time between 10 and 12. We got a call at 9:55 saying they were 20 minutes out and they arrived 20 minutes later.
I pointed out some dirtier spots and showed the cleaner around, and he then went to work. We did 8 rooms on 3 floors plus 2 stairwells. It took about 2 hours. When it was all done I was very impressed. The cleaner took the time, after asking me first, to trim some paint off the carpets. You couldn’t even notice it had been trimmed. The dog smell was gone and the carpets looked brighter. Very nice guy and extremely thorough in his work and is very open and clear about what he’s doing.
When the time comes again, I’ll be calling back.

Alex was prompt, courteous, and responded to my inquiry immediately with a fair price quote. He was easy to connect with – always answering my texts or email questions quickly. He listened to all my concerns about our furniture, cleaned my grandmother’s antique chairs with care, and was very polite and respectful of our home by treading carefully on our wood floors. As a fellow small business owner and someone who really tries to stick to the «shop local» mantra, I’d 100% recommend him to anyone in the Madison area looking to support a reliable, local, small business!

First of all, finding someone that’s this nice in the service industry is pretty rare! Alex is super kind and easy to converse with. Second of all, he did a fantastic job on our chairs (that are white and are from the 1960s) and a stain we had in our couch. He knew exactly what we needed to do and it worked great. Overall, I’d give him a fantastic recommendation.

We just bought a house and wanted to have the carpets cleaned before moving in. I called and received estimates from several businesses before deciding to work with Alex and Steam Plus. He was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Moreover, most of our communication was via text, which was super helpful given I have two small children and sometimes talking on the phone is not an option.
