Studio You Paint It Pottery

If you’re looking for a friendly, helpful staff and a shop full of great pieces to paint, I don’t recommend this studio.
The woman working was not friendly. Very unhelpful and looked annoyed if we had questions. There is a very extensive «rule» sheet, which made me feel unwelcome and like a burden rather than a customer. The employee did not tell us anything about the shop (like where the extra materials/​stamps/​etc. were). Luckily we had been to a shop like this before so we knew roughly how the process worked, but it was sort of a «you’re on your own» attitude.
The selection for pottery was extremely low, like they were scraping the bottom of their inventory. Most of the stuff on display (that looked somewhat interesting) was not in stock, so we had very limited options. Disappointing.
The nail in the coffin, though, is the pickup policy. All finished pottery is in the front of the shop, and since you’ve pre-​paid, you can just come in and grab it. Although, there is no-​one checking to see what you’re taking, and the only identifier is your name (or whatever mark you put on it). There is a high potential for someone to purposefully or accidentally take your piece, and also for your piece to get banged around/​dropped, etc. My piece had a huge chunk of glaze chipped out of it and other people’s pieces stacked on top of it, which is one of the main reasons I will not be back.
Overall, this place is a huge disappointment. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend it.

Very cozy place and friendly staff. The items are a little pricey but include unlimited studio time and paint. We went for ladies night and it was 25% off which was awesome! And there were some snacks as well. I would definitely go back, and probably being a bottle of wine to enjoy.

My daughter loves to draw and paint, there was a place like this back home that we used to go to all the time, so glad to have found this place so we can continue to enjoy painting art pieces for the people we love… They do birthday party’s for kids as well. The owner was really nice we will be back.
