Established in 2012.

Tech Stars is a company built around the simplicity of two basic concepts — repairing and recycling. We quickly zoomed-​out into full-​screen mode and got the big picture, then immediately set to work on merging the two concepts into one and bringing our idea to life. We offer personally-​customized solutions on just about everything you can possibly imagine that is technology-​related. Our professionals are trained in a diverse range of technological-​stuff, and they are so-​ready and willing to help you out, it’s not even funny.

Business Owner

My name is Dorothy Havens, and I am the President and General Manager of Tech Stars Computer Repair and Recycling. Previously, I have worked at US Diagnostics, WAFF Television (an NBC affiliate), and I am a part-​time consultant with The Lexington Group, where I have worked with international businesses such as Global Special Effects, Guerra Holdings, and many well-​known corporations who have enlisted our services to help their global growth. As a native of Huntsville, Alabama, I earned a B.A. degree from Auburn University in 1979. I am married to my best friend, Calvin, and I have two grown sons, Nicholas and Caleb, and a recent daughter-​in-​law, Bethany. I enjoy traveling, reading and jogging with my golden retriever, Sophie.
