History

Established in 2007.

The Dojo Experience is a karate school dedicated to providing the ultimate martial arts experience for kids, adults and families in The Woodlands/​Magnolia area of Texas. It is our instructors’ mission to make sure that every time a student walks in the door they have an experience that is fun, exciting and educational. Students at The Dojo Experience will develop self-​confidence and control through learning martial arts. Instructors reinforce traditional family values while teaching fitness, better health habits, self confidence, discipline and respect for others.

Owner/​Lead Instructor Tommy Crouch

An accomplished martial artist with over 28 years of experience in Chun Kuk Do, Tommy Crouch has spent 23 of those years as an instructor. 11 of those years were spent teaching karate in the inner city of Houston for Chuck Norris’ KickStart Program.

During the years of 2001 – 2005, Crouch was the coach of KickStart’s nationally recognized Houston City-​wide Demonstration Team. He has also been a member of several specialty teams including choreographing a demonstration for Chuck Norris’s international convention in Las Vegas for two years in a row. In October of 2005, Crouch, fellow KickStart instructors, and students of the program performed a demonstration at Chuck Norris’s World Combat League hosted in Dallas and has choreographed several demonstrations that were performed in front of key political figures such as former President George H. W. Bush, former Texas Governor and President George W. Bush, and Texas Governor Rick Perry.
