Description

Specialties

CLC is a family-owned, family-friendly, locally operated business. Children enjoy hands-on learning within their classrooms, complimented by enrichment specials (computer tots, music and yoga) and field trips; school-owned buses bring them to new and exciting destinations. Our creative approach to learning involves teaching the whole child through real world experiences; workbooks have their time and place, but they’re not our primary focus. Keep them interested, excited and loved, and children will learn naturally at their own pace, with no pressure. Year round we offer infant programs, toddler programs, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and after school services. During the summer we also have a summer camp program! We strive to meet your families total needs, parent and child as a home away from home. «Doing what we love… teaching, playing, dreaming, caring.»

History

Established in 1984.

The Jandris family founded CLC in 1984. Rae Ann Jandris, a former public school Kindergarten teacher, had a vision to create a warm, loving and professional learning environment for two-income families. While times have changed from 1984, CLC remains a private school. Rae Ann has entered into semi-retirement, however she is still a vital part of our school and visits frequently. Taking over as Director is Caroline Van Ess, a seasoned CLC Administrator. She brings fresh ideas, creativity and love for family to our table.
