I had been shopping around for the past few months for a 2015 Mustang, walked out of several dealerships with outrageous requests. I had been looking into Don Reid online so one day I randomly decided to stop by. Russell Smith took very good care of me. I am 1000% satisfied I walked out with the exact car that I wanted. Well I came here for a part which was not in stock, don’t fret yet because the Service Writers saved me. I was missing a security key to lower my spare tire and I spent a couple hours this morning looking for a work around. I came up empty. Luckily one of the Service Writers knew exactly where this key was. I’m happily on my way. That is Top Notch Customer Service A+ ladies & gentlemen.

I brought my 2010 Ford Fusion in for a Recall service.
I was treated professionally and courteously throughout the visit. The Service Rep told me how long the service would be and suggested a quieter place to work (no TV) and the car was ready when he said.
Overall it was a great experience!

I purchased an F-​150 from Russell at Don Reid yesterday. This was, by far, the easiest and quickest car purchase that I have made. It was so nice not going back and forth for hours, trying to get the best deal. In addition, the financing part was quick and painless too. There was no pressure at all. I am very happy with my purchase and am confident that I will be a repeat customer.
In addition, the employees had very nice things to say about the owner. It is always nice to support a business where the employees are treated fairly.

Over the years, my wife and I have visited many car dealerships and have walked out of many of them. Honestly, I hate buying cars just for the simple fact that either the sales person is too pressuring, takes way too long and I might actually have to attempt to pretend to know what they are talking about numbers wise (good thing my wife is with me).
This vehicle-​buying adventure was no different… at first. We were in the market for a truck, finally! I have been wanting one for quite some time now. We have been getting the urge to do a little more traveling and camping with the kids and needed a way to haul a camper… whenever we get a camper. One thing at a time. We visited (and left) about four different dealerships before we finally landed at the front door of Don Reid Ford in Maitland. I had been talking with Russell Smith, one of Don Reid’s car salesman, over the phone earlier that day but honestly thought we were running into another dead end. We decided to check them out anyways and headed to DRF to size up their inventory. Upon arriving, the building didn’t look like much and that’s a good thing. They don’t need to spend all kinds of money on a big fancy building full of cheap suits and slimy sales people. This place is laid back, full of down to earth people who want to help you get into the vehicle of your dreams. If you are looking for a Ford truck, this place has a huge inventory and probably has what you are looking for. After making the trek out through their sea of vehicles, we finally found the hidden gem. A beautiful 2016 Ford F-​150 SuperCrew Ecoboost truck… in Blue Jeans blue. It was buried behind others, but it would be ours.
Russell made the entire experience hassle free, stress free and wasn’t pushy in the least. After finally coming to an agreement on the numbers (which honestly didn’t take all that long), the paperwork and financials were handled quickly and painlessly. We were honestly in and driving our new pride & joy out within a few hours. To me, this is pretty quick considering I have hung out in dealerships before all day before being able to either walk out or possibly drive out in a new car.
I would hands down not only buy another vehicle from Don Reid, but recommend others do the same. They take care of their customers. I look forward to enjoying my new truck for many years to come. Thank you Don Reid Ford & Russell!

So, I drive a 17 year old Ford Ranger (1999 for those of you not so hot at math). It doesn’t have many miles (still have yet to crack 100k), but it’s old. It squeaks. It eats through tires like mad.
Which brings me to why I hit up this place. I needed new tires. Now, I had a flat and the only place available was another tire place, so I took care of it. But, upon inspection, I laerned the rest of my tires were dangerously low on tread. So, rather than deal with anything other than the dealer, I called up Don Reid for an estimate. Getting the estimate surprised me: it was essentially the same price as the other place! and they could fit me in for an appointment just two days later.
I was stoked. I went with better tires this go around, but they were able to match what the other tire place put on. AWESOME. Hopefully these will last me longer. The staff on the phone and in-​person is OUTSTANDING. Shout out goes to Annie. She is So helpful and polite. You get a sense that they actually care.
While I waited for my truck’s tire installation to wrap up, I took a peek around their showroom. It wasn’t open yet, so it was nice to look around before all of the salespeople were there (this may skew my overall experience slightly). I really want a new 4-​door F-​150 with all the bells n whistles, in case anyone in Unilocal land wants to buy me one!
My wife’s car is being taken in this week for a recall repair. Hopefully we have a similar experience to report!

Don Reid Ford is the best dealership I’ve ever been to. In the 18 years of car buying at various dealerships around FL and the rest of country — they were the best BUYING experience I’ve ever had… Ever.
The rest of this review will be rather long… but the top info you need is this:
* They didn’t SELL me a car, they let me BUY a car, which are two totally different things
* They worked with me and my terrible credit and negative equity on my previous vehicle.
* They were super patient with me and my crazy…
* Everyone that I met was super nice (and surprisingly a lot of them were military vets — which I thought was pretty awesome).
Over my entire adult life of car buying I’ve always been «Hard Sold» a car. Something that I liked around the block, but off the lot — I realized I got sold. The dealers and sellers have always pushed me into whatever they thought I wanted. 2 or 3 days later, I regret my decision.
This time was different. I had in my mind what I wanted, they talked to me about it, gave me an AWESOME deal, explained everything — including the fact that with my credit and negative equity that my payment would be considerably more than my budget. I said ‘lets do this’ and they proceeded. When I came back to reality, they started over… simply. Without trying to talk me into it, we moved on…
Knowing that I was a little «compulsive» in my buying, they steered me toward a much more affordable option, which I didn’t like, but all the numbers were perfect. They let me have an extended test drive with the vehicle, which confirmed my suspicions. I walked away from that deal.
They then suggested another vehicle that was right down the middle of what I was looking for, which at that point I was just too tired to try anything else. I’ve now walked away from 2.5 deals.
Over the course of a few more weeks, I finally landed on the 3^rd (down the middle) option and loved/​love it. They made sure I had everything I needed to leave their dealership with extended warranties and the paperwork sorted and all that other stuff you get totally run through at other dealerships explained.
All in all I probably spent several weekends there (my fault — not theirs) and I’ve come to be extremely impressed by everyone I’ve met! I always thought it was some BS when you see people on car commercials saying ‘I do all by car buying at…’ But now I get it.

This place basically took the insurance money and stole a really nice hydraulic jack out of my trunk. They didn’t do a full inspection of the car and wanted more money to complete the job they were paid for. Crooks!

Dirty dealership with rude salesmen. I have bought 3 cars and never experienced such rude salesmen. Do not go here if you want a nice, clean dealership experience.

Bought my Mustang here… Very satisfied with the customer service and care I received from Fred here.
And I love my car! It was exactly what I was looking for!

The guys here were really nice and easy to work with. Messaged them about a car in the morning and heard back from them shortly there after. Other places we contacted we didn’t hear from til hours later. Experience was quick and everything was as it was described. They even gave us a full take of gas. Thanks guys!

I have purchased two new Ford Energi cars in the past 6 months. I originally went to Don Reid to make my purchases because I like to support smaller businesses and what is nearest to my location.
However, I was never approached by a single person after being on the lot for over 30 min. opening cars and sitting inside of them.
I went elsewhere to buy my 2015 CMax Energi.
My Spouse then went to Don Reid to look at buying a Fusion Energi. He too walked the lot and even inside and not a single person asked him if he needed help or had any questions.
He purchased his Fusion Energi elsewhere.
I went to Don Reid today with a scheduled appointment for 3PM. Pulled into the service lane, got out of my car, stood by my car and just watched employees hang out for about 8 min before one of them finally spoke to me.
Then I find out the gentleman who I had a 3PM appointment with doesn’t usually get there until 4. Really??? I was told the following:
«He is scheduled from 3 – 6, but doesn’t always get here at 3… most of the time it’s later. You can sit in the lounge and wait.»
Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be waiting since I had a scheduled appointment and I don’t plan on ever returning to Don Reid Ford.
How does this dealership even exist with these customer service skills ?? When you pay the high $$$ for a new vehicle, you deserve proper customer service, courtesy and respect for your time when appointments are made. You won’t get any of that at Don Reid.
Steer clear and avoid the frustration from the beginning.

Service department locked up my keys in a toolbox and couldn’t get them when I went to retrieve my vehicle. Didn’t offer anything for wasting my time, just we’ll drop them off to you on Monday. Stay away from this place!!! Oh, and they leave you standing around forever waiting on anyone to help you. NEVER GO HERE!

I went out browsing for a new ride and found myself at Don Reid Ford. I’ll spare you the boring stuff as we made a deal on a car. I had the pleasure of working with the used car manager David ROdriguez. He helped expedite the process and I was out of there with my new wheels pretty quickly. That’s the beginning.
The car needed a few things in which David agreed to take care of as part of the sale. As a pretty frequent car buyer I know that sometimes getting these things done once you leave is a headache. NOT this time. David actually followed up with me to make sure I got the stuff finished. In fact, i dropped the car off to get something finished up and David arranged a rental for a few days. The car was done before I got home from a trip and since it was July 4^th weekend David knew that I wouldn’t get the car until Monday. He offered to meet me on JULY 4^th to get me back in my car. Where else would anyone do that?
This dealership has earned my future business and recommendation because of the above and beyond work of David. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

I leased a 2013 Fiesta with them back in 2012. I was supposed to get a $ 500 student rebate, so I came in with my transcripts and personal information. I signed some paperwork and left. A couple weeks later, I was told that my transcripts needed to be official, which I understood, but was taken aback that they had not mentioned that when I was at the dealership. So I went back to school to request official transcripts. I brought those in a couple weeks later (it took forever to get my official transcripts) and asked if this was everything I needed to obtain my rebate. They assured me that I was all set and that I should be getting the money within a month or so. I waited quite a while and never heard anything so I called, and they said I still needed more proof that I had been in school at the time I leased my car. At this point, I was traveling out of state for work on a weekly basis so It was very difficult and inconvenient for me to go to school to pick up more paper work and go to Don Reid. I ended up losing the rebate due to their time frame restrictions.
When I came back to turn my lease in, it had been vandalized, so I knew I was going to need to pay for the scratches in the paint. The dealership told me that if I purchased a car from them, they would take care of the mileage and damage on the lease. I thought is was very fair, considering they were also giving me a conquest incentive as well. I accepted their offer and purchased a 2015 Fusion. I signed the lease over, crossed my T’s and dotted my I’s. A few months later, I get a call from Ford telling me that I need to pay the difference for the damage. It was $ 30. They covered up to $ 250 in damage and my damage ended up costing $ 280. $ 30 is chump change, I get that. But I was a little frustrated that this was even coming up months down the road. In my mind, once I signed the lease back over to them, it should have been a done deal. They mentioned that if I didnt pay the $ 30 by a certain date, the full $ 280 would be charged to me. I ended up just paying it.

Visited only to test drive the new 2015 Edge, with no intentions to buy. There is a purchase in my future but not until early 2016. Michael came out and warmly greeted us, helped us find the AWD version and spent a few minutes letting us look at some of the features of the redesign before hopping in to take it for a spin. During the drive he was very forthcoming with info about the model and let me take it up on I-​4 to experience the power of the new Ecoboost engine.
When we got back he spent even more time showing us more details about the car, then even drove us around their multiple lots looking for another model (we test drove the SEL but I plan to purchase the Titanium). Overall the sales rep must’ve spent 25 minutes helping us knowing that we weren’t there to buy. Zero pressure, great experience. When I AM ready to buy, I’ll be headed back and will ask for Michael.

Their service is the worst. Both visits I have waited forever to even be acknowledged when I have come to get my car serviced. This last visit I went to ask the parts department a question and was rudely dismissed by the man behind the counter. Poor customer service at this place. If only there was a dealership closer to my house but I will drive further from now on just to get better customer service!!!

We have purchased two vehicles from their certified pre owned collection. Found the process relaxed and comfortable. Our sales rep David Conway was friendly, helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. We were able to get the prices we wanted and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this dealership to family and friends. We left feeling we had received a fair and honest deal on each vehicle.

We had a bit of a car emergency. When your seemingly perfectly car stops working on I4 you freak out. (Note the car was not purchased from Don Reid, is a few years old, and the car’s problem has nothing to do with anything but the car part malfunctioning.)
So here it was a weekday evening and we needed the car in a shop ASAP. While we could not get in that night, the staff was very helpful about getting our car dropped off the night before and setting up an appointment for the following day.
Dropped off the car the night before with the key in the key drop. Filled out the form asking that the service staff notify us of the price BEFORE the work is done. All went as it was supposed to and we picked our car up at the end of that day. Overall a quality shop, so it seems on our first visit.
Nice, understanding people who helped us solve a problem. Easy to get to location, too. We will be back.
