Dr Douglas and his staff are the best! Kind and knowledgeable, Dr Douglas takes the time to really talk with his patients to truly understand their needs, something I’ve struggled to find with other Drs. No long waits either. I am so happy I found them.

Gone are the days of waiting endlessly in the lobby waiting for the doctor. Both times I’ve been here my bottom doesn’t even have a chance to touch the seat before I’m being called back! Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Anthony is a dog lover– love that, and rocks the bow tie– love that too. I have several friends who see him and they all have nothing but good things to say.
He sits with you and takes his time. He is clear and easy to understand. Although thankfully I haven’t had to test him with any medical crisis I’m confident that he would take excellent care of me. He is athletic so can relate to me and my fitness related injuries. He is active in the community through organizations like SPCA and proudly displays his beagles (how can you not trust a dog lover?)

This was my first visit to a doctor in about five years, and it was a good one. Probably my best ever, come to think of it. Referred by my insurance and a few ringing recommendations online. The internet does not lie! (Not this time, at least).
Dr Douglas was really engaging and personable. I felt comfortable there. Insurance was a breeze, too.
I was in and out in under an hour. Pretty good!

I have been a patient of Dr. Douglas for 8 years, he’s an insightful Dr who isn’t quick to prescribe a pill for something that can be fixed with lifestyle changes– and I like that.
He takes the time to explain things pretty indepth and always seems to know a lot of great research on side affects, etc. His staff is good with follow up, and any specialist he’s referred me to has been of a similar mindset. If you have to go to a Dr., go to a good one like Dr. Douglas.

Found Dr. Douglas as a participating member of my Hubbys health plan, have stayed with him for 6+ years, because he’s awesome.
If you are looking for a great primary care doctor who doesn’t overbook and make you wait forever, still takes time with patients, knows his medicine, keeps current on new things and trending medical topics, takes a whole health approach, has nice staff that follows up with you… then please give him a try.
They are located on the upper level of the Maitland Exchange building, just south of the ¹⁷⁄₉₂ and Maitland Blvd intersection. (Just North of the Maitland Publix.) We couldn’t say enough good things about Dr. Douglas and have referred him to friends that have been just as happy, impressed and well cared for.
