Excel Auto Body

After reading several reviews online and through Unilocal I decided that this was the auto body shop to try out. And I believe I made a great decision! Randy was super helpful and made sure everything was taken care of after someone backed into my car door. As someone already said… the process was quick and painless. He helped me pick out a rental place nearby and they were super helpful. My car looks beautiful and they even polished it up so that it looked even better than I imagined it would look. Great job, everyone!

I was rear-​ended for the first time, and my rear bumper was destroyed. I looked through every single auto body shop on the insurance company’s list, and decided to go here. I’m sooo happy I did! Not only did they do a great job, but they went above and beyond for me. I was supposed to be picked up by the rental car agency, but an hour, still nothing. They stayed open late so I wouldn’t have to stand outside, and decided to use their personal vehicle to deliver me to the rental car agency. Now, that alone impressed me, but they also filed a complaint on my behalf. My car looks great, was returned fully cleaned inside and out, and their customer service is just impeccable. I hope to never get in another car accident, but if I do, I’ll definitely use their services again.

I have driven by their sign for years while traveling on hwy 17 – 92, so when the time came that I needed body work done, this was one of the first places we checked for quotes, and after shopping around, they also had the fairest prices. The whole process was quick and painless. Randy ordered the parts, I dropped my car off, and a few days later it was ready. They even washed my car, inside and out, and cleaned my interior rugs (a set that I thought I was going to have to replace due to stains)
Because my experience with Excel Auto Shop was so positive, I won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs body work done.

Survived three teenage drivers and I have used a few go-​to body shops from high end to basic. Excel was a solid referral from a trusted mechanic and tire guys and they were 100% right. Excel understands service.
Excel completed a major collision repair,. Insurance work, new Civic rear-​ended by an Explorer. Had front end damage as well. Sitting at red in left turn lane. Five cars involved, ouch. Driver for the Explorer covered by MetlLife. Their insurance adjuster had worked with Excel, completely comfortable. Damage was about 40% of value. Quality repair work, delivered on time. Since the repair, the Civic has been on the road for a year. No issues.
Infiniti just was dinged in a parking lot, one of life’s less pleasant surprises. Relatively smaller repair, out of pocket, no insurance claim. Shopped two other body shops referred by friends. Both reputable, both were higher than Excel by 25% and 40%. Excel delivered a day earlier than promised and the car looks great.
BTW, I noticed that Excel is certified to do insurance work for many companies.
Tips. Check the map and make sure you have good directions or you may not find the shop. They are located in a safe neighborhood in Maitland at the end of North Avenue. They share a large area with a boat repair dealer and another repair shop. Do not be mislead by the no frills approach. Just drive to the end of the yard.
