Sand Lake Imaging

I have gone to them for 8 – 10 years. They have done mammograms, xrays, CT’s, MRI’s of just about every part of my body. So shocking to me when I go in for annual mammo and I ask if they will do comparison to previous ones and the tech says we have no records of ever doing any. I’ve been blessed with negative mammos. Can you imagine being told that if you have a history of problems?
Something has changed drastically with SLI over the past year. Don’t know that I’ll be going back. The technicians flippant response to nothing on file. Duh, you had a system change last year. You worked there then. That should not have been your response to me. Very disappointing.

I’ve had several mammos and an ultrasound, here. In the beginning, they were great. However, as the years went on, they got progressively worse. From mis-​coding a routine mammogram (resulting in months of battling between insurance and their billing department) to absolutely no follow up for one that had questionable results. I mean, seriously, how dangerous and irresponsible is that to ignore an abnormal result in someone with family history of BC?! After several calls, on my part, to get the results, and multiple promises of a return phone call with NO follow through, I finally had to get belligerent IN PERSON to get my results. Avoid.

Very friendly staff. easy scheduling… Great location… radiologist always there if I have questions.

Don’t bother tracking down and bringing your old records… Sand Lake Imaging radiologists won’t bother to review them and will notate on your radiology report that they didn’t have them. And don’t call SLI if you have any trouble regarding the test… they will NOT speak with you (only with your doctor). BUT when you get billed $ 800 instead of the $ 200 they estimated for your portion, they will expect you to pony up. This place stinks!!!

My wife and I have been in several times for an ultrasound. They have a nice, clean office, and the staff is very friendly. They earn bonus points with us as they have worked us in on days when they were slammed, when they could have honestly made us wait a day or two.

This location is much less congested than the Sand Lake location and for that alone I would make the trek out here! Scheduling was a breeze, and I was able to get a next day appointment even when I called at 5:20 the night before.
All the staff were very nice and check in was very quick. This facility seems HUGE once you get past the front desk area, so it’s hard to imagine that there would be any type of unreasonable wait.
This location has a smaller waiting room, but a very calming feel. Darker tones, wood and stone. Hot tea seemed to be available in the inner waiting room, nothing fancy, but Lipton and green tea bags and honey were displayed.
Yes, I had a mammogram. No, it was not horrible, it did not hurt, and was not embarrassing. Mammograms save lives. Just do it, because the life saved could be yours.

So, this year marked my inaugural visit for a mammogram… I’ve heard many horrific tales from friends about the squishing and pulling involved with the procedure. Well… to try to minimize my discomfort I decided to book my appointment during their Tea Time Mammogram deal :-) That just meant that I’d get tea and cookies during my appointment.
It really is a lovely office. I was led to a waiting room that had dressing rooms off to the side. I was told to undress and put on a robe. Then I fixed myself a cup of tea and served myself cookies while I awaited my turn. The wait wasn’t very long. In fact, I took my tea with me and finished my cookies afterward.
The squishing and pulling wasn’t nearly as unbearable as I had prepared myself for it to be. But, I’ll be glad to wait another year to do it again.

Went this am for some x-​rays. It’s very clean, and modern in the reception area. The staff was extremely friendly and my x-​rays only took a few minutes. They do take walk ins, but you might wait a little bit longer. I called ahead and made an appt. I’d go back here again if I needed to.
