Bill’s Beach Shack

If you are looking for a fairly inexpensive place to stay on the beach wtih a sunset view, big yard and a pool then this might be the place. The downside is that the neighborhood isn’t so great I’d stop short of calling it unsafe. The house needs more than a little maintenance but remember you aren’t paying a lot. There is a pool and I did see a pool guy come and clean it so it’s reasonably well kept. The owner is on-​site which is good I guess unless you really want to be left to your own.
All in all, I think it’s ok, the owner is pretty flexible in that you don’t have to always rent a week at a time but there are nicer places in Makaha to rent that are on the water and you only have to pay a little bit more.
