Description

Specialties

The goal of Flips and Giggles is to provide a nurturing social environment using numerous inclusion practices so that all children, whether or not they have been diagnosed with ASD or any other developmental delay, can successfully participate and form social bonds with their classmates. The resultant program offers unique and often individualized classes engineered to aid all children, regardless of disability, to achieve their optimal potential. Flips and Giggles implements loco-motor skills, gymnastic skills, and social interaction skills based directly on each child’s particular set of skills.

History

Established in 2003.

The families of disabled children must spend countless dollars to provide their children with the best chances for success. The lack of affordable and qualified resources available, became apparent to Josie Penza, owner of Flips and Giggles, during her numerous years in education. Josie was determined to make a difference. She became dedicated to helping children with special needs make better connections with family and friends while simultaneously developing their core body strength. This was the motivation behind the Flips and Giggle’s program. It’s main goal is to provide all children the physical, emotional, and psychological ability to successfully interact with their peers.
