I always went to valvoline because i felt like it was the best. Then I came here and I was 100% wrong. There prices are so reasonable, and unlike valvoline it’s not kids working in your car it’s trained professionals. After going here I will never EVER go back to valvoline or any mechanic shop for that fact again

I’ve been bringing my Kia Optima to Hub Starters for the last 2 years and have been very happy with the customer service, service to my vehicle and quick turn-​around. I also appreciate that they offer a complimentary drop-​off and pick-​up service so that i can leave my car for the day and get a ride to work in Malden or to the T. They also double-​up the paper floor mats to keep my tan interior looking clean! (Thanks guys!) Five Stars!

My 2009 Jeep Wrangler engine blew out… needless to say a very big and expensive job no matter where she gets fixed. I asked around where to get my engine rebuilt or replaced and a couple people said the same place… Hub Starters in Malden. I was skeptical and cautious due to the fact Ive been taken advantage of by so many repair places on small jobs let alone replace a whole engine!
Lets just cut to the chase… they quoted the job upfront and pointed out all the potential pitfalls. I received daily updates and text pictures of the job in process! End result… the job was done early, just under budget and most important the car runs perfect. Thank you Hub Starters for making a stressful experience as good as it gets! Thank you Brian and Lou!

I have gone to hub starters for 20 years and have only great things to say. Here’s an example of how good Lou n his mechanics are: I bought a brand new honda crv n took it to Lou for an oil change. They mention my left stabilizer link has play n ask if i have heard a noise. I had heard a noise, but thought it was me over hearing things. They say take it to dealer cause it’s under warranty. I do. It took the dealer three times to diagnosis it. The first time they found no noise… The second time they tighten things… the third time yup they said it was the ‘left stabilizer link,’ which I told them to check it on visit number one n two. Thanks Lou!
