The Doctor is amazing. He is very good with children. He takes his time and explains everything thoroughly.

Had my eye exam done and frame and lenses purchased a little over half a year ago. Service was great, and the whole process went very smoothly. They have many frames available, and fortunately they accepted my vision insurance. Visited them again recently, and service was just as great and very accommodating. I will definitely continue being a customer next time I need to upgrade my frames/​lenses.

Love Dr Bui! I was so tired of going to the Lens Crafters by my work in Boston so I took a chance coming closer to home and it was so worth it.
Dr Bui insisted first name basis, was super friendly and knowledgable, and was a great help figuring out my new eye benefits. He helped me get the most put of my annual benefits.
Front desk is a bit passive, and were unhelpful with updating my benefits. But the overall care and feel of the place more than makes up.

Great location, I love the place, so modern and clean. Parking is okay, try to come on a weekday! Dr. Bui is wonderful and nice, very educated and warm.
The staff on the other hand not so much. So cold and unwelcoming. Even when I call on the phone, they are short and robotic.
When I went to try on glasses, the girl was patient with me and even suggested some pairs. As I was trying them on I noticed her rolling her eyes and whispering to her friend. How rude! I only just met you 3 minutes ago and already feel so terribly uncomfortable.
I suggested this place to locals for Dr. Bui, all of them had something terrible to say about the front desk ladies but adored him.
Please train the staff on being more… Human! Otherwise, Dr. Bui you are fantastic!

If you are wondering if Dr. Bui is a good doctor, your answer is YES.
He is awesome and very helpful — I finally feel like I have an eye doctor that I can trust. I traveled 50 min from Boston to make this visit and it was well worth it. My friend who has been seeing him for 3 years recommended him to me, and I am glad I took his advice. He understands the meaning of service and what it means to care about patient concerns. Lovely stylish man too!

Dr. Bui is fantastic. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a very quick but thorough exam.
The frustration lies with the front desk staff. I had recently moved and informed the office of my new contact number when I went in for my visit. I ordered a pair a glasses and was told they would be ready on a week.
After a few weeks I called to see what the delay was. They said my glasses were back ordered and they were still waiting on the insurance. Another two weeks pass and still nothing. I called again and they tell me they weren’t able to contact me. They never updated my telephone number, even though I verbally told them when I went in and it is on the form I filled out during my visit.
The front desk was very dismissive and did not seem to care. I will still return because Dr. Bui is great, but I will not buy any glasses again. Very frustrating experience.

I was looking for a new optometrist as my previous one was not conveniently located to my home. I found In Vision through Unilocal and read through the reviews. After seeing some negative feedback about the lack of information on their part, I proactively researched my insurance coverage and printed out the information. Sadly, the receptionist informed me that my coverage only includes a contacts prescription OR a glasses prescription. I decided to get new glasses and order new contacts through 1800Contacts myself.
Nevertheless, I had a great experience here. Once you walk in, your olfactory senses are flooded with fruity scents which I loved! It’s better than having it stink! Dr Bui was fantastic and really took the time to explain everything to me. He also listened to my needs as well. I referred my husband here for his eye exam and he also had a great experience!

I hate to leave a bad review for this place, because Dr. Bui is lovely! The place is also very nicely decorated (they recently moved and the space is a lot bigger). However, my last experience left me outraged and I have begun the search for a new eye doctor. When I called to make an appointment (needed new contact lenses and my prescription had expired), I specifically made sure to double check that the exam would be covered by my insurance, which I was told it would be. Upon arriving to the office, I was told by the girl at the front desk that the eye exam is covered but the CONTACT LENS exam is not. Great. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. $ 75 gone. She then told me that my contact lenses would be covered up to $ 120 which I was thrilled about. I selected 5 boxes totally $ 130 and was charged $ 10. When I went to pick up the contact lenses several days later, I was told I owed $ 120…because I was only eligible for the $ 120 coverage every 2 years, which I was not informed of at my original appointment. I understand that health-​related expenses are high, but I expect the individuals working the front desk to know their stuff and provide me with accurate information, including what I should expect to pay. I would recommend better training for the staff… unfortunately this frustrating experience will keep me from coming back in the future.

Great experience. I went here after getting my last pair of glasses years ago at Lens Crafters, based off of the positive feedback on Unilocal.I wasn’t disappeared with the service one bit. They took the time to guide me through the process, I felt like a good customer and not a number. My husband is going back for a full eye exam in a few weeks.

Dr Bui is great, definitely going back.

My kids have been going to Dr. Bui for over 2-​years and I cannot say enough good things about this office. Quick appointments, no wait, professional, friendly, and a clean and modern facility. Keep up the great work!

In Vision is probably the most professional office I have ever been to. Dr. Bui is amazing. He really took his time with my exams and gave great recommendations. His staff is also great.
They also have an amazing selection of Designer frames here as well.

Dr. Dylan Bui IS a super star, as a previous reviewer mentioned. I like the amount of time and care he puts into an eye exam. I’ve had 2 so far from him and he really makes you feel comfortable and even humors some of my nitpicky technical questions. Frame selection isn’t the best in town, but they have plenty of variety to choose from. The frame salesman up front may not be everyone’s favorite, but I like how honest he is. I have no use for salesmen who sugarcoat. I have been wearing glasses from here for 2 years now and they are still in great shape. Keep up the good work

Overall, I’m happy with this place. This review is for contact lens orders only though. Like most places, they accept all insurances and the prices are really fair. It seems like their frame selection wasn’t as large as other places like Lens Crafters, but a good and modest selection.
As for service, the people seem really friendly. All my information was double checked with care. The reason why it’s 4 stars instead of 5 was that their estimate time on when my order was going to be ready was a week off and my last pair of contacts ripped a while ago. Boo. When I got a call from them, they said they were missing one box but said I could wait until the last one came in. No biggie, but would’ve liked it when a week earlier.

Found this place on my eye insurance website. It was close to home and I was needing an eye exam so I made an appointment. The receptionist was super friendly and gave me a wide range of availability (+1).
Dr. Dylan Bui is a super star. He was friendly, knowledgable and took me through the exam step by step. No surprises. Quick, efficient — perfecto.
The shop also had a nice wide range of frames from super cheap (under $ 100) to high end. The frames queen employee helped me try on a few different styles and picked a few out that she thought would be different and fun. Good times.
All in all, glad to know that I’ve found my new eye doctor!
