USA Dry Cleaning & Tailoring

Go in there for alterations!!! They have a new lady who does the alterations and she’s super fast too!!! If I need it by tomorrow she always does it for me :-)
About 3 weeks ago we moved to Malden so I was looking for a new dry cleaning. I went somewhere on Highland Avenue first but it turned out it was a Laundromat and it only had the Dry Cleaning sign sooo what to do, what to do? Unilocal saved me as always!!! I looked up the closest Dry Cleaning and I found USA Dry Cleaning & Tailoring.
I like the lady who works there a lot because she is always sooo nice!!! The only downside is that they close at 6PM and I usually get home around then but as soon as I get off the bus I start running and I usually make it there 5 minutes before closing. So it’s basically a win-​win situation. I get a good work out and I get to pick up my clean clothes from the dry cleaning too :)
They have tailoring as well. I used their service to alter a pair of pants and I was very satisfied. Defintely sticking to the same dry cleaning for the next years!

WARNING: Do not go here for alterations! I called to check in on the status of my dress after I had dropped it off 3 weeks prior. She told I had to come back in yet again for another measuring of the hem after shortening the strap. There was no need for another fitting; she had already marked it 3 weeks ago. I needed the dress finished within a week for a wedding so I was panicking!
She rescheduled the last fitting the morning of the day I was suppose to go in. WTF! She insisted I wear taller shoes and she only had to hem an inch off the front half of the skirt. I really didn’t want to risk stepping on the dress and ruining it.
I picked up the dress the day I had to drive up for the rehearsal dinner. She wasn’t ready on the time we had agreed upon thus delaying my travel time — because she wasn’t ready. Very unprofessional.
Remember how I didn’t want to risk stepping on the hem of the dress?! I stepped on it ALL night. She simply steamed the dress and took advantage of the fact that I was on a schedule that day when I picked it. She DID NOT HEM THE DRESS. I stepped on it repeatedly and after the reception, my heel ripped right through the hem! Completely RUINED!
She took advantage of my never having had a dress hemmed before. $ 60! Please be warned that she is a trickster and rip off!

Excellent, yet again. This place is fast and has great service (with one of the most unique people I have ever casually spoken to), and has yet to leave me feeling unsatisfied. Thank all my lucky stars for good dry cleaners like this!
