Just came here to get food on the way home after a nice drive on the PCH. Guy at register was rude and rushing. He got pissed because we were deciding what to get and even went«pshh» and shook his head at us. Went to the restrooms which were very dirty and seemed like they were never cleaned since this place opened. Wont come back again.

The service at this McDonald’s is pretty bad. They did not take our order correctly. They gave us a smoothie that was not completely full and we had to ask them to give us a full smoothie and we got a look. Not very efficient and the standard that McDonald’s says that they hold up to.

This McDonalds is a disgrace. The bathrooms were the dirtiest, most disgusting restaurant I have ever been in. The manager is a equally unfriendly. I can’t give it a zero stars but there is no way I’d eat here or support this mess of a McDonalds.

+ Nice layout — Could use a clean up — Employees were a bit lost Went for a ride through PCH with my buddy and stopped by. McDonalds lol. We were riding down, saw the golden arches and just stopped by. I don’t really like leaving fast food reviews, but Unilocal keeps pushing it up here lol, so I’ll go ahead and write one. The service is a bit lost. I ordered for ‘here’, they even gave me a little stand with a folded up french fry holder to keep my receipt in, and told me my number. Some of the tables still had some trash on em and a little messy from previous patrons. no worries, I’ll clean it up myself. When time came to get my food, oh. my food is in a to go bag lol. Yea, not sure what’s going on here, but the staff could use a bit of tidying up. Overall, only came here because. it’s McDonalds. Cheap, easy and fulfilling, but I’ve experienced better at other McDonalds in lower tier cities lol.

no wonder this place only has two and a half stars I just went through the drive thru and asked for an order of cookies when I got to the window and wanted to return the one cookie I was just handed she said well you only asked for one. first point don’t argue with customers just say sorry and go fix the problem. Secondly can I have one cookie please and can I have an order of cookies don’t even sound alike if she wants to make a point of saying she knows what I said. Bottom line, this place seems to not understand good customer service. they argued with me about what i wanted and then didn’t even apologize when we left. Wow. I.Landry

They have public bathrooms. Kfc does not. Therefore McDonald’s wins. Didn’t eat here. Sorry about using the bathroom without purchasing something. But they get 5 stars for the fact that I am able to do that without being criminalized for it.

Brittany C. In the drive thru this Sunday morning @ 9:12 a.m. was very friendly and personable as always. I got my usual cinnamon melts which satisfy my sweet tooth.

Before my grandfather passed away, he made me promise I would never write a bad review of a McDonald’s restaurant. I don’t know why he wanted this, but I looked him in the eye as he drew his last breath, and I swore I would obey him. Today I break that vow. I go to McDonald’s with modest expectations. The food should be kind of hot. I should approximately get what I order. And there shouldn’t be too many pubes everywhere. This location strikes out with style. I would wager that since this location opened, the drive thru has gotten 100% of their orders wrong. Which is actually kind of remarkable, just from a mathematical stand point. If head office had decided to put in a machine that just passed out random items, they would actually be ahead of where they are now. As for cleanliness, I guess it subjective. One man’s palace is another man’s latrine. I would think, though, that using a rag to wipe the sneeze off the wall would be simple, but maybe if you look at existentially enough… can sneeze really ever be wiped off? So, I guess they’ve got me on that one. I hate to criticize the employees, because it’s not like these poor souls could be getting paid any less money or respect. However, I once spent a year living in an abandoned school bus. I would bathe in ponds, sneak showers in hotels. I once laundered my entire wardrobe with moist towelettes from KFC. And with the 8% of a shit I gave at that time, I was easily more presentable than this motley crew.* Visit this location for anthropological purposes only. * A Motley Crue-themed McDonald’s would be amazing.

I am utterly astounded that the idea of raising the wage to $ 15 per hour is even an issue for places like this. No greeting ATALL from the person at the register. I tried to order a meal, and substitute coffee for the drink. I was told 3 different things from 2 workers and a manager, with the net result on my receipt being different from all. It’s not the 79 cents extra I had to pay, its that there is no training or communication between managers and employees or to the customer, ANDTHEREISNOCUSTOMERSERVICESKILL. I would have spent less at chipotle. Never coming here again and I think the $ 15/hour issue is shocking.

Watered down Hi-C, soggy cold fries and cold cheeseburgers. I know its McDonald’s but this is pretty low quality even for McDonalds.

Rude and lousy. No one in the drive-thru behind me and she argues with me to pull up away from the window without my food and wait. I ordered«extra well-done and crunchy hash browns». Yes it takes longer to cook but no one was in line behind me. Oh, and although the hash browns were golden brown they were soggy in the middle. My suggestion go to jack in the box

This is my half way pit stop for an ice coffee on the way to the canyons. I was always greeted with a smile and friendly service, until TODAY. Cashier KS#2 around 3:15pm was probably not feeling the day. Managers should pay more attention on their front end. If an employee does not seem like they can give their 100% andthe employee thinks they can generate more out of their life sitting in a couch at home, that employee should be sent home. How a client is greeted and served says a Whole lot about the location ownership and management.

I’ve had good McD’s, decent McD’s and bad McD’s…this was bad. Tasteless fries, which is almost unheard of for a McD’s, same with the burgers, pale meat and lacked any flavor. The only reason we stopped here was to use the bathrooms and grab a quick bite. I think the Jack in the Box down the street would have been better choice

I rarely eat Mcdonalds anymore. I had a craving so I stop at this Malibu location. The girl took my order and money. I asked her for my cup and she looked at me like I was crazy. I repeated my request and just stood there. She rolled her eyes at me and with a loud sigh gave me a cup, reluctantly, really reluctantly like she was doing me a huge favor.

Service can’t be worst Employes here are rude Speaking lousy Spanish Thinking no one would understand them (Like in California no one else but them speak Spanish) Understandable since workers come from far from the place No affordable place to live for them around here They don’t know how to serve good people … Food was good

I went through the drive through and ordered me some tasty McNuggets. They asked if I wanted BBQ sauce, so I asked what other kind of sauces they had(I know they expanded the sauce selection recently). The guy responded with ‘we don’t have any other sauces’. I was like ‘really??’. He was like ‘yes, just BBQ’. I responded with ‘you don’t have the sweet chili sauce?’. He paused for a moment, then confirmed they DID. I think he was just being too lazy to rattle off the sauces. Come on, McD employee. Just rattle off the sauces, let me choose one, and go on with our day. Don’t lie to me about something so innocuous.

I grew up eating McDonald’s. I still crave it sometimes. I’ve been going to Malibu a bit and occasionally stop in here for a bite. I’ve been impressed. It’s always clean, I always get friendly service and the food is good. I have found this not to be true at many McDonald’s locations. Hooray for this location for getting it right! I usually get the Fillet-o-fish or cheeseburgers and they are yummy. I don’t eat many sweets but since they are next to the beach, on a hot day, I’ll get an ice cream sunday :)

In Unilocal-speak, this McDonald’s is A-Ok. I hadn’t been to the Golden Arches in years. Thanks to an emergency lunch which required fast food and fast food only in Malibu, McDonald’s seemed like a quick n safe choice. It was. The food was … well it was McDonald’s. I got the Angus Bacon and Cheese Burger meal with drink(Diet Dr. Pepper) and Fries. The burger actually was«salty», but it might have been taste-seep from the fries. Biggest negative was that the registers didn’t take Debit Cards. Cash only? Seriously? The place was clean. The service was relatively fast. Parking was easy. It was McDonald’s and being in Malibu doesn’t change that.
