Sherman’s Place

Gotta give a shout-​out to long-​time Malibu business Sherman’s Place. My pups love going to her shop, and I have to say we love picking them up fresh and clean! Personally we like to go on Saturdays with Sherman, Blair and Ernesto, but I’m sure any day is great. They do a fantastic job grooming, but we’ve also brought our guys in to ask about nicks, ticks, skunks, you name it they’re very helpful. This is a great local business to support. Sherman has lived in Malibu forever, she and her place are part of what makes 90 265 unique and special.

This place is awesome. Sherman and her staff are professional, caring and very detail orientated. They all have a love for animals in their hearts. This is a jewel of animal pampering and taking care of our beloved four leggeds.

I recently took both my dogs to Sherman’s for grooming. My Westie was groomed by Leilah and looked amazing when done — despite my own feeble attempts at a haircut some days earlier. Deedee scissored and styled my terrier mix and it was truly one of the cutest haircuts ever! Ask for either of these gals and you can’t go wrong.
Moreover, my dogs seem to love to go to the shop to get their haircuts! Thanks Sherman’s Place for doing an amazing job, and at a reasonable price!

Leilah has completely improved my Maltese’s hair and overall look! I always feel at ease when I bring my little guy in knowing he’s in the best hands. She even took him home one day because I got locked out of my house and couldn’t come and pick him up on time. Shermans is the best!

Took my new shelter dog into Sherman’s Place to get her nails trimmed and I was so happy to see Sherman there. She personally took care of Stella’s nails. The girls gave her a cute Halloween kerchief and we were on our way… professional, loving and a dog treat to go!

I adopted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and have been searching for a decent groomer, who would do more than just make my dog look pretty for a day. I wanted someone who would trim her coat, deal with all her troublesome spots, and keep her in good condition. Layla groomed my dog and did a great job with her cut, but also trimmed her ear fur, discovered the previous groomer hadn’t attended to her anal glands, and also told me she suspected my dog had a yeast infection in her paws. A trip to the vet confirmed this, something I would be unlikely to discover for myself, and it’s now being treated. Layla really knows what she’s doing and I will be definitely be using her from now on. I appreciate a groomer who cares about dogs more than just giving them a bath. I don’t think I need to go anywhere else from now on!

Sherman and her team are the best! I’ve been using them for over 7 years for my different dogs, two of whom have long hair. They treat your pets like they treat their own. None of my dogs have ever been keen on getting groomed when I do it myself, but they are excited when I take the to Sherman’s Place. Even my dogs think the shop does a better job then I do. I always am entertained by the stories I hear when I go to the shop. All the staff is so entertaining!
Sherman is one of the most caring people ever to all living things. The world would be a better place if there were more Shermans!

Simply the best! Sherman and Blaire do such a good job taking care of my dog Royce. The shop is so nice and clean. Not to mention right across from the beach!
Royce loves going to see his aunt Sherman and aunt Blaire because he knows how great they treat him!

Sherman’s Place is as good as it gets! The best dog groomers (Layla, Sherman and Blaire) and the best people. Groomers need to be dog lovers and you won’t find better animal advocates anywhere else. It’s across from the beach, so it’s even worth the drive!

Sherman is the most caring person. Her team works hard so your precious pets is perfect upon pick up! Highly recommend!
