I was shocked to read Patrick B’s review. We used them originally in 2008 at the recommendation of an interior decorator. They installed a hardwood floor, feathering it into an existing hardwood floor and refinished 2,000 sq of existing hardwood which had been cupped from temperature extremes. Their price was about 25% lower than the other quote we got. The crew is clean and professional. They sealed all areas with plastic and there was zero dust in the house. The results were absolutely perfect — and we are very particular and often disappointed with contract work.
In 2012, we decided to lay hardwood in another room that abuts a large expanse of the hardwood they refinished four years ago. We only considered one company. We did not get another quote as their price was the same per sf as four years ago and, honestly, we knew we were going to use them anyway. Once again, they did not let us down. It is very hard to install, sand and coat hardwood butting up to 25 feet of existing hardwood without some evidence that it was not done as one install. But, believe me, they did it. It is absolutely perfect.
