Tonia Tagliaferro of Art of Dressing opened an elegant new women’s boutique and event room in the heart of Westchester at 555 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, New York.
The Art of Dressing program has helped women in achieving a new level of confidence in their appearance, regardless of their age, weight, or lifestyle. This innovative approach centers on developing a positive internal dialogue that changes the way we look and feel.
10 years ago, Tonia, an expert stylist, founded Art of Dressing to help women improve their confidence by building self awareness, becoming more accepting of their body types, and dressing to suit their individual personalities and lifestyles. Her approach takes the guesswork out of dressing and empowers women to look and feel their best. Tagliaferro’s program, which one can attend for a fee, runs two hours and encompasses the entire package: from closet to accessories. From tips on how to banish counterproductive self-esteem to purging that unitard number from 1980, see how small changes in design and cut can make vast improvements in one’s overall look. Learn lifetime skills to look great effortlessly and exude confidence.

Business Owner
Tonia has worked in the fashion industry in a variety of roles for over 20 years, starting as a showroom and fitting model, a buyer of sportswear, dresses, coats, lingerie, shoes and accessories, and as an image consultant and fashion stylist. She has been an inspiration to women in New York City, Westchester and Fairfield Counties, and across the Hudson Valley, as she has helped thousands of women to be more accepting of their bodies by choosing a wardrobe designed to highlight their best features. As a pioneer and innovator, she was among the first to promote and support the market for plus-sized apparel for women.
Tonia founded Beauti-full Size Boutiques, a chain of retail specialty stores in Westchester County, offering stylish clothing for this growing market. She also owned and operated Allure Dress Shop, an upscale women’s specialty store.
