Love Artusos — my husband is addicted to their neapolitan pastries, child and I fight it out about the almond and chocolate mini eclairs. I’ve always found the staff to be really nice and friendly, whenever I go in — and the other day when I managed to spill coffee over self, child and his friends (my fault entirely), they insisted in cleaning it all up, gave me a free refill and replaced the pastries.

Not a bad place for pastry. Not the best but it’s good. Ordered a piece of Tres Leches and it wasn’t the same as others. Didn’t have the spongy taste. Too much strawberry filling in the center. Wasn’t a fan of their Tres Leches however their red velvet cake was great. I think it’s one of the best red velvet cakes I’ve had in a while. If you’re in the mood for a red velvet cake I would recommend it.

Awesome and very friendly staff! Will go above and beyond to please a costumer. They were out of Black and White cookies and offered to make two special cookies just for me. And they were closing as well for the night!

I came here TWO times ! And the staff is so unprofessional, rude and don’t even care if we are standing right I front of them, is this how you train people to be? The first time I entered this small girl didn’t even say hi she took her time to finally serve me and she was so rude and said ‘want do you want’ excuse me? I would of fired her in the moment I walked out without buying a thing after I went in the second time having an open mind again, there was another girl seem nicer but was I wrong about her ! She went running to the back after seeing me and didn’t come back after 10 minutes ! Little did I know she came out with the same girl who was rude to me last time, they were talking and ignoring me after the girl asked if I needed something, wellll I wouldn’t be in there to just watch them talk right? She took 20 min serving me ! Was rude aswell very sarcastic, didn’t ask if that all I needed she was too busy talking to the other girl to even worry about me … My opinion is to stop hiring highschool kids who clearly don’t care of the job and get people who actually care ! MAYBE I’ll come back if those to girls aren’t there

3 strikes and you’re out. 2 years ago, we got a cake for a graduation and the writing said «Congratulation’s Owen» (yes, inappropriate apostrophe). Then we ordered another cake — «Congratulations Asheley» (should have been Ashley) and tonight we got «Happy Birthday Jeny» (Jenny). C’mon, folks. With so much competition for baked goods and the like, you’ve got to do the little things especially for special occasions. This last error is enough for us. We’ll be going elsewhere from now on. Someplace that can spell and punctuate, has better parking and cares about the product they are pushing out.

Fabulous Italian pastries! Excited that they moved in town, and is quite a bit better than I remembered them in the Bronx. The desserts are obviously made with much care. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. Love it!
It’s hard not to mention Boiano’s next door, an old Mamaroneck favorite. I find it difficult to compare them, as they seemed to me to be good at different things. Some pastries that Artuso can do with such exquisiteness, that it is in my opinion unmatched in local Italian pastry shops (including Neri’s in Port Chester). Some things, like cheesecake and custards, Boiano’s is still my favorite (yet). I think they complement each other quite well like that, and I’m grateful they are both here in the village!

Parking is (and always was) a big issue on Mamaroneck Avenue. I had to double park after circling the area 50 times. My main problems were the help behind the counter that are all too young, untrained (have bad attitudes) and slower than molasses. I explained that I was double parked and that I needed to hurry and that I called ahead of time to make sure the cake was boxed and ready to go. The cake was not boxed and ready to go and I saw a police officer writing me a ticket. I was impatient and upset and the girl behind the counter grabbed my credit card out of my hand. I said, «you should never do that» and she had the nastiest disposition. Bottom line, I bought a ½ sheet cake for my mother’s 80th birthday (for 26 people) and the cake was so dry that I had to throw it out, along with throwing out $ 68.00!!! Never again will I step foot in that place. My sister who hosted my mother’s party, insisted that I order the cake from Artuso but in my opinion, Boiano’s Bakery in Mamaroneck is the best!

Very fresh pastries and good coffee, they serve espresso in a nice take-​out cup. The also have mini slices of carrot, chocolate and other cakes and all are very fresh. I used to be a regular at Boiano’s but they have too many old and stale pastries, watch out for the biscotti…, and the selection is too big to be fresh.
Very nice friendly staff at Artuso too.

Mother of God… i went in here again. night before thanksgiving. I figured i would run in and get cannolis because these are the best thing they have. i go in, no one ahead of me. 4 employees standing there talking. ignoring me as usual. 5 minutes… nothing… backs turned and no eye contact. FINALLY… a girl comes up to me. Can i have one pound of mini cannolis mixed and a small cappuccino to go. ok. i watch her slowly put a box together (with all the time these girls seem to have on their hands these boxes should be pre made and ready to go) and slowly places the connolis into the box. Seriously, this took her about ten minutes. I almost fell asleep watching her. Then… i am thinking ‘is someone in the back making that cappuccino because if i get a ticket i swear to christ i am going to flip out!!!” NOPE — she asks «anything else?» YEs please a small cappuccinno. while i wait for he capuccino i make a phone call… because i was on the phone the girl walks away and doesn’t ring me up!!!
I seriously want to give them business but i cant take slow service. This is lower westchester ok??? NOT upstate or the south! People need to move their asses. Even if they aren’t busy every person should only take a minute or two to get out of this place with a small order. I worked in a bakery in the bronx when i was 16 and i would have been fired in ONE DAY if i had ever been this slow.
These girls (and the one guy who is always there) should go work in the Arthur ave shop for training and learn WHAT service is.

What character ! I love it! The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. There was such a variety of items that looked all so good. Not knowing all of the items I had some questions, and let me tell you the employee who was helping me had such patience. After that experience I decided to sit down and have a cappuccino which was delicious I ordered from the menu «it Cannoli be» it was awesome, all different cannoli flavors and the shell and flats were so fresh. before leaving this very clean café and I mean clean I took home about 2 lbs of pastry and an Italian Ice to go which I recommend the cream it was very refreshing. By the way I came here to order my grandmothers 50th surprise cake and I forgot because I was overwhelmed with all the goodies! I would say the only thing that was a little annoying was the menu on the table it is a little big. Over all A plus!

After having gone to Boiano’s down the way a bunch of times, I decided to mix things up and try Artuso. Ah what a disappointment. We got a few tricolor cookies and some cannolis and both were unfortunately lackluster. Everything looked great in the display case, but after one bite it was clear they were all stale.
The place was empty when I stopped by so maybe their turnover isn’t so great? Who knows. Regardless, it’s really a huge bummer to bite into old pastries when you get a craving for something fresh and sweet. Too bad.

I liked the staff here, they are always friendly & sweet. The desserts are good, average. Are they the best I have ever had, no but it is a really cute addition to the this small harbor town. It has plenty of seating to have a cup of espresso and a little bit on the high end but I am happy they opened up here.

Ok call me a bakery snob but this place falls so short of nearby quality bakeries.
Typical Italian pastries that sit in the case and absorb all other flavors… yummm. refrigerator taste.
The young lady behind the counter was a punk and I got a real sarcastic kind of vibe from this chick. Sorry to the rest of the staff that was helpful and lovely.
Bright and big with plenty of space but other than that I will not be returning.

Maybe it was the time of day, or maybe it’s because I’m picky, but the stuff on display here didn’t look too appetizing. Lots of condensation, things were obviously sitting there for a while… and while some of the pastries looked pretty, nothing really made my mouth water.
We were on our way to meet someone at Sal’s, so couldn’t stay for too long. I’ll have to come back and actually try something. Though to be honest, I think I’d rather just go to Neri’s or Cerbones…
