The dental hygenist used very uncomfortable and out-​of-​date water pick tools that left my ears ringing the rest of the night. The office is small and in a condominium building so hard to find. It’s cramped and feels a bit like a NYC room in a hostel. It’s clean enough but feels kind of like I am going to the back room somewhere and is not modernized in the least. The Dentist was thorough and mildly helpful but it wasn’t enough to overcome the rest of my complaints. Tiny uncomfortable rooms await with ~3 dental chairs crammed into the back part, ~4 waiting room chairs in the front. The receptionist hadn’t even put away the mail (even though my appointment was at 7 PM) and it was still sticking out of the slot behind the plexiglass she talked to me through. She didn’t even move it to talk to me… The dental hygenist also couldn’t speak English well so I really struggled understanding her. I would not refer anyone and won’t be back.

LOVE THIS DENTIST! So… This guy, I cannot say enough great things about. Fair, honest, talented, personable. I came to him because another dentist (will remain nameless) tried to swindle me into getting a root canal. This other dentist did not take my insurance but it isn’t always easy to find a good dentist that does. I decided to go onto the insurance website and found Dr. Kravets… and made an appointment. Dr. Kravets explained to me that the need for root canal are rare and that too many dentists jump om the root canal train because that’s how they make their money. He saved me and my tooth!!! It took time and patience but I trusted him and he was SPOT ON! He also will fight for you with your insurance company which is great.

I love this guy, he does his job very well, and he’s honest. I’ve referred my whole family to him.

Dr. Kravets is a head above the others dentists I’ve been to. He is easy to talk to and explains each procedure well. I go to his office in Williamsburg and each time is a breeze– super fast and virtually painless.
My roommate to recommended I see Dr. Kravets for a second opinion after I got an estimate for almost $ 4000 worth of «necessary» procedures from a place in Manhattan (The Wall Street Dental Spa with Dentist Leone). He had been treating her and a friend for a while with only good experiences. Thank goodness, because Dr. Kravets was able to provide all the necessary treatment with only $ 40 of cost to me after insurance (it would be around $ 150-​$ 200 without insurance).
I could not be happier about my cost savings– not to mention the hours of painful treatment I would have had to endure! I plan on sticking with Dr. Kravets for any future dental work. I like the combination of painless dental work, pleasant attitude, easy scheduling, and most of all –excellent value for your money.

I don’t like going to the dentist, or any doctor for that matter, but I go cause I have to and I’m not fussy about it. I’m not scared or anything. However, for some reason, I always had terrible experiences with dentists. They were never nice and I usually just felt like a piece of meat.
Dr. Kravets is the best dentist I’ve ever come across and not because I have low standards. My sister and a friend went to him and recommended him. I will never go to any other dentist.
He’s great at what he does and he loves it. He’s also extremely personable, friendly, professional, patient. He answers all of your questions patiently and doesn’t rush you. He does a fantastic job with everything he does. After going to him I realized I had never had a real cleaning. Most dentists just scrape your teeth a bit and then brush them. He did a thorough job and took his time.
I have recommended him to my friends and they love him as well. He’s removed 3 of my sister’s wisdom teeth. She was barely swollen and didn’t even need pain killers. The first one she had removed at a different dentist was a nightmare.
Another friend had a route canal and it was actually the most pleasant experience anyone could have during such a procedure.
Definitely go to Dr. Kravets. I’m not sure why this page isn’t full of reviews for him, maybe people are trying to keep him a secret so his office doesn’t get jammed.
