Auto body repairs for insurance claims and out of pocket customers. We guarantee our repairs for as long as you own your car. We are among the 10% of collision repair businesses that hold the Gold Class designation. That means we meet the industries highest standard for training. We know what can be repaired, what needs to be replaced and how to spot hidden damage.

We work both directly and indirectly with all insurance companies. What’s the difference? When you report your insurance claim your company will offer you options of shops they work «directly» with, under contract, to repair your car. We do work directly with some insurance companies. But we don’t have to be on your insurance companies list of shops to repair your car. By law you have the right to choose where your car is repaired and your insurance company must cooperate «indirectly» or as we call it «the old fashioned way» where they send one of their adjusters to our shop to discuss and pay for the repair procedure.

History

Established in 1989.

Mamaroneck Auto Collision was created, owned and operated by Angelo, my father, who taught me everything I know about customer service and smart small business practices.

It is now a second generation family owned business operated by his son, myself, Dominick.

The business thrived through the 90’s as a very high production auto body shop working for a loyal client base which has expanded with each passing year. Serving Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Harrison, Rye and beyond. We thrived on «word of mouth» and referrals. We currently have customers who have since moved to Manhattan and as far as Carmel who still make the commute here for repairs. Because they know they will get quality results at a reasonable price and we appreciate the business and loyalty from the bottom of our hearts.

We were the main auto body shop for the entire Sholz Auto Group of White Plains until they closed in 2008.

We achieved I-​CAR Gold Class status in 2012 and have maintained it to this day.

Meet the Manager

Dominick L.

Manager

Dominick acquired a Bachelors in Computer Science from New York University. He currently holds I-​CAR Platinum Individual status as an Estimator, Steel Structural Technician and Non-​Structural Technician. He has worked in the family business since childhood and began managing Mamaroneck Auto Collision in 2005.

He was previously a database administrator for Spectrum Skanska /​WCI Communities, a computer systems builder and help desk technician for M-​Technologies, an administrative assistant at American Express Financial Advisers and an administrative assistant at what is now Pepsi Bottling Group in Somers.

Dominick is your «go to» guy at Mamaroneck Auto Collision. He will discuss your options for the repair itself to making an educated decision regarding paying out of pocket or reporting to insurance. With years of experience with all insurance companies he can also explain how your specific company will process the claim in their own way and what your rights are as a consumer.
