My workplace placed a delivery order today and was quoted a time of 45 – 60 minutes. An hour and a half later, we had still not received our food. We called and were told the driver was on his way. He didn’t appear until 30 minutes later. So we received our food 2 hours later(twice the time we we were told) and not only was it cold, but some of the orders were wrong. Never ordering from here again.

Love this place. Hope it doesn’t start going downhill now that it’s been around for awhile. Foods always good and consistent. Haven’t seen too much of a turnover in employees so they all seem to know the menu. Very clean for what it is and quick.

Pretty good food. Good ingredients, love the chips and salsa that come with your meal. Big fan of the fountain Boylan’s. The staff is always cheerful, hard working and polite.

Got a delivery last week and we were amazed at how quickly the order arrived and how delicious and fresh the food was. Keeping their number in my phone for the next time we want real fresh food delivered.

Salsa Fresca is good. I really like how you get a bag of chips with the burrito. It’s quick and easy. A great price and if you’re a high school or college student, if you go during there half price for students it’s a a great buy. I recommend going for some good food.

I love this place. Of course it’s difficult not to compare it to Chipotle, but I think you get a lot more for your money at Salsa Fresca. Every purchase of an entrée(bowl, burrito) comes with a side of free chips and salsa(unlike Chipotle, who charges extra for chips). This place is a lot cheaper in price, and the quality is great. If you’re a student(like me) you can get a $ 5 bowl or burrito on weekdays(with school ID). The food is fresh, tasty, and fun. I never feel sick or sluggish after. My only compliant is the lack of white rice, but I suppose having brown rice is helping me be a bit healthier. The place is always clean and welcoming. The staff is super nice as well. Definitely would recommend!

Gee, should i be like every other reviewer and compare this place to Chipotle??? Well, i didn’t get violently ill from eating here. How’s that, Chumpotle drones? This place has what appears to be fresh ingredients and everything ive had here has been great, except for when the soda fountain was superflat. It’s a solid 3.5.

This place makes great food. But every time i go, they give me more than half a bowl of food. Great place but the servers are rude sometimes

I’ve gotta say this place has grown on me. It really is a clean, friendly atmosphere. Their cilantro lime dressing is to die for!

It’s amazing how two restaurants in the same chain Canberra so different. I just ate at the Mamaroneck location and I was impressed. The servings are large – Yorktown barely fills the plate. Mamaroneck is clean, Yorktown should be closed by the department of health. Mamaroneck has staff who seem to like their jobs – Yorktown ignore you. Yorktown charge extra for a tortilla, Mamaroneck didn’t. Top management of this chain should do something – but don’t bother emailing them because they are run by Yorktown types who can’t be bothered responding. Five stars to Mamaroneck, zero to corporate and Yorktown.

If you aren’t in the mood to venture to the one Chipotle in lower Westchester(White Plains), this place will suffice.

A worthy alternative to chipotle. Food is fresh & tasty, and spicy! They have an all natural soda fountain! Chips and salsa are included with every meal! I really can’t complain Hope to see more salsa frescas popping up!

Clean nice great staff… Overrated more expensive then chipotle and a lot less food… Not worth it and the parking sucks… chipotle still rules this space

I am one of those people comparing this small chain to Chipotle. This place begs to be compared to Chipotle. If you’re going to look, sound, and act like Chipotle, expect a tough comparison. It’s not good. No steak offering. No white rice(they use Spanish). Meats and other ingredients seem inferior to their billion dollar brother. The one redeeming factor is the Boylan’s soda fountain. Whoever’s idea that was, bravo. Love it. As for the food, they need to step up their game a bit and readjust the menu.

This place had potential when I walked in. It’s almost sort of like Chipotle. The idea is the same(choose a few things make a taco or burrito) but this location is closer than Chipotle. No one said hello. No one offered any explanation of how this place works. The menu although easy to read has a lot if information for a first time visitor. Both meals ordered were a mess. Uneven distribution of the fillings and just sloppy careless approach. Food made with no care tastes like it’s made with no care. When I asked about a kids meal I was only told to pick something but was not informed no drink just chips. Don’t want your kid eating chips, too bad. No exchanges. Full charge for a healthier option. This is a major flaw. Chipotle offers the kids menu with healthy options. Upon going to pay up I was THRILLED that they has a Boylan’s soda fountain. It’s a rarity to find in these areas. I mentioned it to the cashier and she really could’ve cared-less. Is there something below caring? Possibly bordering on making a customer feel uncomfortable about being excited about a product? That describes that moment with that cashier. Since all the food hadn’t gotten to us yet I asked for chips. She rang me up instead of telling me «no need! Everyone gets chips» and was more than unhappy to take the chips back. When she explained how the kids meal worked to me I asked for a cup with a straw and cap. She refused more than once and I had to be quiet firm about getting something for my toddler to drink out of. I’m talking asked twice then had to ask again. I’ll just go to Chipotle. Staff is nicer. Food is well made. They had actual kid meals. I felt unless they get all new staff and change the menu rules this place is just another spot doomed to close to barely hold sales on the Ave.

This just reminds me of the movie, «Coming to America,» where Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall go to work for John Amos in his«McDowell’s» restaurant. «We’re nothing like McDonald’s. They have the Golden Arches, we have the Golden Arcs.» Salsa Fresca may have identity problems being compared to that other Mexican Grill chain named after a smoked jalapeño pepper(cough, cough, Chipotlé), but they lack the marketing prowess of that burrito juggernaut. SF’s burritos are roughly half the size, even though their prices are almost identical. They try to make up the difference by giving a bag of tortilla chips & salsa with your order. Just give me more burrito and I’ll be happy. I have to admit that the ingredients are very fresh(living up to their name) and offer a wider variety in their menu than(cough, cough). But(cough, cough) homes into their targeted demographic like a laser, offering exactly what the people want, while their competitors are wallowing in their wake. But(cough, cough) is a victim of their own success. Despite on-line ordering. lines go out the door at(hack, cough, wheeze) and they look great to the CEO, lighting up his eyes with dollar signs. But if I have to spend most of my lunch hour on line, I’d rather go try a place like Salsa Fresca and be out in 5 minutes.
