My son went in the shop by himself recently and was treated poorly by two guys working the counter. He bought stuff and asked for advice but they were unhelpful. We fish the Mammoth area at least 4 or 5 times a season and always stop there for gear. I’ve booked guides here in the past too. We won’t give them any more business and will go to Ricks from now on. They are friendlier and more helpful. Too bad the troutfly staff won’t give young fishermen the time of day.
