I’ve come for massages here and have always had a wonderful and relaxing time. I decided to try a facial again after not being too impressed in the past. Donna was absolutely wonderful and very thorough in assessing my skin conditions and offering proper treatments and suggested some products. There was no pressure to buy the products, she was sweet and very knowledgable. I’ll definitely be going back to see her for a facial!

Horrible! I have never had such an awkward experience having a message. They use latex gloves to message you!!! Latex Gloves! !! And I asked the women to be gentle and she wasn’t at all, I needed advil afterwards. I will never go back, to be fair. I was at the Manalapan loction, so I dont know if all Hand and Stone are this bad, but I think they should change the name to the Latex Glove and Stone cold Service!!!

I have been going here for 5 years and I have not had one bad experience. The massage therapists are all great. Nancy is amazing if you want light to medium pressure. I went to Lori once and I was very satisfied since I like medium to hard pressure. Casey is another great therapist although her schedule is very limited. I only go here because the hours are convenient, I never have problems with scheduling, and they always provide candy for their clients! The deals are much better here than what I have seen at other Hand & Stone Spas. Haven’t had a facial in many years from this location, so I will give it a try one day, but I will definitely continue to use them for massages.

I just came from my massage with Lori. this is the first and last time I will probably be coming to this location. Usually I go to North Brunswick and haven’t had much problems there.
It first started with me receiving a $ 10 off coupon which I tried to add an «add on» however the lady said that because the coupon is from North Brunswick I can only use it there. She did look further but said that my lady has an appointment after so she can not do any add ons. Fine, okay.
I was waiting until 11:08 until she took me in, then I undressed and she didn’t come back until 11:15. I was nervous that she was going to cut my massage short (50min), which she did, it was about 40ish minutes. It wasn’t even worth saying anything. She followed the pressure I liked, but she wasn’t even on how much time she spent on each area.
I tried to tip on my card, which usually I do at other locations and they said I couldn’t. Thank god I had some cash on me or else I would’ve had to spend $ 1.50 at their atm. Just a little inconvenient.

Horrible service. I made reservation was waiting for my massage. When I arrived at the salon the receptionist told me that my reservation was canceled without explanation and then when I came home I got a phone call from them about mixed up. It was my first and last visit there.

I went to hand and stone for some time. When I decided to no longer go, I called on the phone and they said to not cancel, but put the membership on hold, after which time they would charge my credit card one time and the membership would be cancelled. After seeing them charge my card, I called and asked to confirm what I had originally been told. Now the story has changed and they would now be charging my card two more times! I think they are thieves and would never recommend the place. Buyer beware!!!

While scheduling a facial was very easy and the staff was great to work with I was very disappointed with the service. I got an introductory facial and left feeling ripped off. Having the occasional acne I asked if they could target those areas but the woman performing the facial didn’t. I’ve gotten many facials and know there will be some squeezing of blackheads and the occasional zit but none of that happened this time. She also talked throughout the entire service, promoting the products which I had no intention in buying. She barely washed the last mask off either, this was my first time having to wash my face immediately after a facial. I was very disappointed and won’t be going back.

I Had my first experience recently and I have All positive feedback. I had a very relaxing 50 minute massage at the introductory price. Very friendly staff, mentioned the package deals for members but was not pushy at all. they made me feel comfortable. I liked there page on Facebook And they had a giveaway going on. So I liked and shared there post, and today I got the message that I won there serenity package. A free massage and facial!!! So I called and booked my next appointment. I would deff recommend to anyone Can’t wait to go back !!!

My friend and I were able to experience a hot stone massage for an introductory price, but unfortunately were not satisfied with the service. I don’t know if they were just tired after a long day or because of the stones that they couldn’t apply firm pressure to our backs. Also, my friend booked an hour massage, but they told me it is 50 minutes because I still need to undress. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It is located within a shopping plaza so the parking is plentiful. Would I come back? Yes, but I think I would try a regular massage next time.

Great place to relax! They do an excellent facial. They make you feel right at home, they are very knowledgeable with the products they use on you. You have to join the life style program it is so worth it. You get a facial or massage once a month. Love this place would definetly reccommend them, very professional, clean and friendly place.

Loved it! The staff was very nice. My boyfriend and I got the introductory massage for 49.99 and it was the best massage. They really took their time and asked your comfort on how firm you wanted the massage. They massaged my back neck scalp feet legs arms and hands. Will defiantly return when I see another special!

The Manalapan location is so professional and pleasing to frequent. Lucy Frost and her staff are extremely polite and wonderful to be around. I could spend my entire day there!
