Wow that was insane I had the best day I did 2 dives 1 tandem & 1 by myself it was my first jump by myself so I was a little nervous.
The staff were all really nice which made the day that much easier & enjoyable.

This was my third time skydiving I had an absolute blast, I was suprised at how cheap it was priced next time I get a chance I’ll defiantly come bak.
It’s a little hard to find that was the only problem I had the whole trip apart from that the dive went very smoothly & the view was spectacular.

This guys are amazing! Besides having a very reasonable price the staff is super friendly and they make you feel like part of the team. I highly recommend these guys to everyone. And I give them 5 stars in everything, I will definitely be jumping with them again soon. Thank you skydive jersey!!!

I loved this place! It’s difficult to find (follow the blue arrows when you get to the airport), but worth the trek. I live in NYC and I was debating between this and Skydive Long Island. Ultimately I chose here because for a jump + video it’s about $ 100 cheaper than Skydive LI.
Well I’m glad I chose here! They were very upfront about safety when I asked. In 15 years they’ve had no deaths (they called them «losses») and only a few injuries. The last injury was 8 years ago and was a sprained ankle. When I heard that I felt a lot better.
I booked the 11am time on Friday and was surprised to have jumped and finished by 1:30pm. Very fast! The waiting was the worst part, but after that they suit you up, train you, and you’re off. The instructors were very nice and friendly. I got my video the same day of my shoot — it was e-​mailed later on. Good quality.
Overall I can’t say enough nice things about Skydive Jersey Shore. The jump itself is obviously incredible and unlike anything else you’ll ever do. It was the best 30^th birthday present I could have given myself. The views of the shore were amazing. I couldn’t see NYC because it was a little hazy. Awesome!

I never write reviews on Unilocal and this has got to be really amazing for me to write one and i think skydiving jersey shore deserves that!
i must say everyone there were super friendly and helpful and what is most important is that the instructors are very well experience. and are def not the type that just wants to get more jumps. they may joke around a lot but trust me they all know more than enough what they are doing.
i am so glad that i chose this drop zone as my birthday present to myself. i would nothave done it any other way. though it was kind of scary to sign my life away but putting myself in their hands i knew that they would do anything they can to make sure i had a good time and most importantly they tried their best to protect our safetly!
i went on a saturday afternoon with 3 of my other friends. we waited for about 2 hours since its a saturday its given that a lot of people wants to skydive on weekends. The wait was not hectic at all. the staffs were very nice (especially they guy that worked in the office who distribute our jumpsuits and manage the tickets. sorry forgot his name) He was super friendly and informative. People were nice and u know automatically that they enjoy what they are doing and it’s just a great feeling.
i would assume that the plane ride would be bumpy since its a small plane. but it was smooth to the max! i have to say this is def A MUST GO if you consider skydiving as a first time!)
overall experience = I HAD A BLAST! and would definitely go back!
and def get the video package. u can choose that option on site. My friends got their video the day of but I am still waiting for mine. Hope it will arrive soon!!! so excited to see!
oh and my intructor was Willy. Everyone there is nice and experienced like I said so pls do consider. def recommending this to the Unilocal world.

Joe is amazing and was a great person for my first tandem skydive. These people are so nice and accommodating, and go through everything with you. Skydiving is terrifying! Definitely! But I’d never go anywhere else.
These people are the best.
And you should definitely get the video!

Get something to eat with you. It usually takes about 3 – 4 hours.

THESE PEOPLE PUSHED ME OUT OF A MOVING PLANE! It was awesomeeee! Loved it. I highly recommend it. It’s a rush that’s en explainable.

Amazing experience.
We were first worried at the remoteness of the location… had to drive down a road that wasn’t upkept and the signs were small.
But the staff was amazing… very friendly, funny and reassuring.
Will definitely recommend to my friends!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I took my brother for his 21^st birthday and we both are not fond of heights, but the staff there made the experience so amazing. They were really informative, extremely experienced, and absolutely hilarious. They completely eradicated any sort of doubt in our minds. We laughed the entire way up in that tiny plane and you could hear me laughing the entire way down. It was the experience of a lifetime and I can’t wait to go back!

An Outstanding Experience!!!
Like some others, I had skydiving on my bucket list for years and what makes it significant for me is that I’m afraid of tall heights and airplanes… and falling from tall heights and airplanes.
I finally took the dive (pun intended) after a previous attempt had to be re-​scheduled due to bad weather.
Well I sucked it up and made an appointment with Skydive Jersey Shore and the entire staff was exceptional. You watch a quick video and fill out a multi-​page waiver and then you head to the field where you are given instruction on jump procedures and after that you suit up. The instructors and jump personnel were laid back but professional and funny which was a big help as it kept my mind at ease and prevented the anxiety I normally feel when flying – let alone jumping!
As far the actual jump, again it was a phenomenal feeling. The weather was picture perfect; a beautiful, sunny and clear day with a slight wind. We took off and about 15 minutes later I was free-​falling!
I have to admit that when we jumped, the first feeling I had was total shock… not fear… but just the realization I had jumped out of a plane! Once I wrapped my mind around that I enjoyed the ride. In freefall you can hear almost nothing… but when the instructor opened the canopy-​the only way I can describe it was pure peace. It was quiet with the exception of the wind and I got to see fantastic views of the shore, ocean and the NY skyline on the horizon. You could see for miles. It was incredible!
After landing I received a certificate for the jump and I was on my way. I suggest that you try and book the first appointment of the day (8AM on the weekends) and be on the first flight out because I was entirely done in about two hours. When heading back to my car, I noticed a nice size crowd in line so the time definitely increases if you arrive later in the day.
I can’t wait to get my video in the mail because I had both family and friends call me an «F’in» liar when I told them about my jump… lol.
To wrap up this was a memorable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life and I have Skydive Jersey Shore to thank for it!
I recommend that those reading these reviews give skydiving and Skydive Jersey Shore a shot. I would definitely do it again but watch that first step… it’s a doozy!

The best experience I could have ever had. Far exceeded my expectations. We made an appointment and had to change it twice, then got stuck in traffic and were 30min late but they were understanding the whole time. Staff was great and the instructors were even better! They made our first time truly an experience of a lifetime. I wanted to be on the next plane up. Will recommend this place to everyone and will only go back here when I jump again. Thank you!

Crossing this one off the bucket list. Sure, it took a few hours to get us checked in, «trained», up the plane, off the plane… not to mention that the liability waiver is a bit daunting/​scary… but it was totally awesome. The instructors are super friendly and hilarious characters — Jon kept saying «yeah baby» after everything, and we’re trying to incorporate that into our conversations now — which put everyone at ease. Leaning out of a plane at ten thousand feet wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be, almost natural, but the sentiment wasn’t shared by the rest of my cohort. Everyone seemed to have a different experience. Nevertheless, we all thought it was amazing. Free fall was definitely out of this world (hah!). I’ll be putting my certificate of completion up in my cubicle!

I went here on June 4 for my 26^th birthday as a gift to myself. The reviews and rating of this place were good. Well they lived up to it and more.
I got there at 10 and was signed up and waiting for my plan till about 12 or so, there was a large group ahead of me. My instructor was hilarious and adorable. He kept me laughing and I had a blast. That is the single most greatest experience of my lifetime and I am so glad I went. I am planning on going again and again. Great place to go!

great! we waited a super long time today to jump but i don’t blame them. they handled 46 people today on a beautiful thursday, with only 2 small planes and 4 instructors. we waited almost 1.5 hours but everyone we spoke with was great so i’m still giving 5 stars.
also, they give out 10 $ coupons at the end so def ask for it during your reservation.
i didn’t get the video and apparently that’s rare, but i don’t regret it because it is very unflattering and i believe i will remember the experience for years.

I fly planes, I’m an adrenaline junky, but somehow I never got around to skydiving. It was always on the radar but never a burning desire. Maybe it’s the relinquishing control. Maybe its the ever looming question ‘What sensible person would throw themselves out of a perfectly good airplane???’ So when the GF, a former certified skydiver, told me we were going, and going with the only people she would trust, I didn’t fight back but my heart did skip a beat.
Located 15 min inland from the beach and roughly ½ way between NYC and Philly, Skydive Jersey shore is perfectly located for a day trip. Its down a dirt road on the backside of Monmouth Executive airport so bring directions or you may end up at the wrong airport entrance.
They have a corner hangar where you watch a quick video, weigh in, sign your life away and pay for your adventure. You then make your way over to the edge of the jump-​zone where they have some picnic tables under sun screens, a gear tent, and the dispatch booth. They’ll check you in, get you suited up, then just wait your turn. For some the wait is anxiety producing, for me it was calming. You have a chance to watch other people nervously board the tiny Cessna and 20 min later come down all smiles and cheers.
The guys are all professionals. Mike, the owner, started the place 12 years ago and they claim a perfect safety record. The tandem instructors aren’t newbies looking to rack up jumps. They’re seasoned professionals looking to introduce the sport safely. My guy has over 10,000 jumps!
The planes are the standard Cessna ²⁰⁵⁄₂₀₆ configured for jumping. If you’re not familiar with jump planes, or small planes for that matter, you may be surprised by what you’re about to get into. Don’t be. I’m a pilot, I’ve flown all sorts of tin can’s with a propeller. They may look worn but they’re perfectly safe. I was happy to see 2 on the field and one in the hangar for regular maintenance. That means they’re doing regular maintenance. And as a bonus, they’ll always have at least one going so you only have to worry about the weather canceling your jump.
I’m glad I finally jumped. But equally glad I did it with an group that made me feel safe. I’ll definitely jump again with Skydive Jersey Shore.
