Pretty good Chinese! Better than others in area. Sushi rolls are just ok. Polite workers.

We absolutely love this place. The sushi is the best in the area: yellow tail and salmon are melt in your mouth. They make an incredible General Tso’s chicken that is unparalleled with any other place I’ve visited in NJ. The Pad Thai is not authentically Thai, but is pretty darn good. If you’re looking for something different, try the Basil Chicken. Really tasty. Definitely worthwhile. They also deliver fairly far away from their location. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This place has a little bit of everything. They have sushi and chinese food. They have these special options for chinese which area about $ 30 and they give u a smörgåsbord of food. Its pretty decent for the price. Also their sushi is pretty good too. Usually order the yokohama special which has like 6 rolls for like 25 dollars.

The sushi is average-to-good, but the prices keep us coming back to this place. Very reasonable!

I have been there several times and wanted to wait until I felt comfortable about sharing a review and compared the same order with other local sushi providers. I ordered sashimi(salmon) — amazing and age tofu(very lightly crisp and non-greasy and the sauce also light, complementing the tofu flavor) and a shrimp spring roll — so yummy and freshly made on site as opposed to ordered elsewhere raw and cooked on premises. I can’t say enough and I have tried a lot of restaurants at higher price points. ADDITIONAL: Just had shrimp and vegetable tempura and salmon sashimi for lunch — so amazing, — appetizer: lightly breaded and vegetables and not fried onions — 2 shrimp, eggplant, sweet potato, broccoli, zucchini, potato. Considering it was lunch, the salmon sashimi was so tender. I have spent many nights, each week, for the last ten years, in NYC at a premier Japanese restaurant and the quality of what I have reviewed above is just as good.

I live this place I’ve been going regularly for about 5 years the sushi is priced right and always tasty, I love the crackers and duck sauce that they start you off with. All the Chinese food is delicious and priced well. Good crispy general tsos and a grade A egg roll.

This really pains me to write because I have been a long time fan of this place since even before they switched over to being a Chinese/sushi/hibachi spot. The food used to be awesome and the service was great. Lately the quality has seriously dropped off and I have had two bad experiences with them. First off I got the mackerel sushi and the fish was mushy and clearly very old. Not spoiled but very old. I gave them a pass because, hey maybe noone ever buys mackerel. I went in again recently and the place smelled really bad of old fish.(Strike 1) then I saw a roach crawl up the wall(strike 2) then I got my food and it was horrible(strike 3) I will definitely give them another try soon… Hopefully they clean the place up and get back on track because they used to be great. I look forward to he day when I can edit this review and add some stars!

We get half price sushi on Sundays(12 – 4) maybe twice a month and we love it. Their lunch specials are affordable too and the servers are so nice! But we have noticed their Chinese food usually tastes better on weekends. Probably different chefs. Overall, fantastic place for eat-in or take out.

I don’t know what happened to this place but I would never go back. The food was really gross, fried rice was soggy goop… too much water the waitress said and gave us some white rice. Pork Lo Mein tasted like propane torch smoke, Chicken Chow Mein was tasteless. We just got back from spending the winter in Florida and though it would be a nice quick meal… quick but not nice.

Ordered delivery for dinner. Very prompt with delivery. The spare ribs appetizer was very good but a bit pricey at $ 7.95 for 5 ribs. The general tsao chicken was just ok, it tasted like it was burned. And the sauce was vinegary. Partner had chicken lo mein that he said was just average.

This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants around this area because not only does it have really good vegetarian options on its Chinese menu, but they have great vegan options on their sushi menu. Delivery times are usually accurate. However, if you go in and it down it takes a little bit longer than I would prefer, but the food is worth it so who cares.

Very exciting to find a Chinese restaurant in Monmouth County that offers vegetarian«meats»! The vegetarian General Tso’s chicken was really good. One word of warning, though… we ordered take out, and ordered 1 regular General Tso’s chicken plus 1 with the veggie chicken. They were not labeled as to which was which, and it was hard to tell them apart. My husband and my mother tasted some of each, and even after eating them, it was hard to tell the real chicken from the fake. So, this is a complement, in that the vegetarian was so realistic… but it would be a problem for future people who get take out of both real meat and vegetarian meat. As the name implies, the menu is both Chinese and Japanese. I opted for some sushi, as there were many vegetarian and vegan options. All of it was very good! A great find! I will return to dine in the restaurant whenever I find myself back in NJ!

Excellent Chinese food served by an efficient staff in a pleasant setting. Honestly, what more can you ask for? Szechuan Tokyo is definitely worth a stop.

Very reasonably priced for large portions. Service is very good and staff is friendly. Ambiance is decent, but it can get a bit loud if there is some Hibachi action going on. Vegetarian General Tso’s is AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Good, solid Chinese /Asian restaurant. The sushi is just right and their vegetarian General Tso’s will leave you wondering if you just accidentally ate chicken. Would Eat Again. They also have hibachi, which looked pretty exciting but which could otherwise be a distraction if you’re not partaking.
