Good stuff! If you are in Manasquan, stop by for breakfast or lunch. Prices are reasonable and service was great.

Breakfast and lunch were pretty good for as far as diner food goes. A bit slow for food to arrive. Clean. Friendly. I’d go back again.

I can’t give this place enough stars. You really feel welcomed here. Stopped by on my way back from an appointment before I hopped on the train. A great little, cozy dinner with some awesome breakfast foods. The pancakes were of the melt-in-your-mouth variety. The bacon was perfect, and the potatoes were fresh. My personal favorite, though, was the FRESH squeezed OJ. The boss even threw a splash of the just-squeezed stuff before I finished my meal, just so that I’d «end on a good one.» Super friendly staff, very attentive, great food. Here’s to my new breakfast spot in the area!

We have been to the Paramount many times for breakfast and it has always been a great experience. They give you a large mug of very good coffee. They have a long list of different flavored pancakes. I’ve had most but my favorite is still buttermilk. They are so tender they melt in your mouth! The eggs are cooked to perfection and their bacon is the best around. On today’s visit, my BF had the Bliss from the Breakfast Specialties and he said it was bliss! Manasquan is a great town and the Paramount is one of its gems. Reasonably priced, too!

I come here fairly often. Breakfasts are good. Lunches and burgers are good as well. As diners go, this is a nice place, good food, and nice people. What more is there to say? Oh, it is also clean.

Nice local diner. Friendly staff, good food. Lots of locals come here during the year as well as they get very busy during the summer. We’ll be back again. Great for families.

Best Diner in the area, hands down. Besides the food being consistently delicious, the staff is always friendly and inviting. Always our go to breakfast spot.

Great little diner to get my omelet fix! New owners came here in the past year or so and they really helped the place out. Staff is great, food is good! During the summer season the line is out the door! Will come back. But remember hours are only 7a-3p! Forgot to mention: there was a change of ownership almost years ago! So ignore other comments prior that may be negative!

I was driving through Manasquan, NJ to check out the beach after a weekend camping in Allaire State Park, so this sit down diner on Main Street was perfect. Around 10:00am on a Monday, the owner greeted me at the door, and I found the waitstaff equally welcoming and friendly. The food is primarily breakfast/lunch, and scanning the menu, my eyes caught the Linzer French Toast. My waitress gave it the thumbs up and about 10 minutes later, a beautiful sight arrived – six thick slices of French toast smothered in hot raspberry jam and sour cream with syrup on the side and three pieces of fresh fruit garnish. I should have only had 2 – 3 slices, but once you start… The mouth feel of the sweet jam with the sour cream and soft(but not too soft) French toast is addicting. And with three refills of coffee, the bill was ten bucks – a great deal in my book. The ambiance is bright, a little 80s styling, and a kind of home style feel the way a diner should be. Last but not least, the bathrooms are also clean and tidy.

Paramount gets one star for a few reasons. We usually love eating at Committed Pig down the street, but the wait was about an hour there on this particular day so we walked down to Paramount. Diners are usually quick and easy, right? Not the case at this place. We were seated immediately and our waitress seemed attentive and helpful. It was all downhill from there. Our food took a whopping 45 minutes to come to the table. Yes, the food was delicious and the portions were generous, however it definitely was not worth 45 minutes of waiting. We very politely told the waitress and the owner that 45 minutes for basic diner food is totally unacceptable, and instead of discounting our bill or apologizing, the owner got defensive and fed us some BS about all of the food being«fresh» and«made to order”– isnt that the case at most restaurants? We should have gotten up and left but didn’t have many other options and we were starving. Whatever– we definitely will not be back to the paramount!

Totally agree with the previous reviews. Adequate at best. Service is fine, food less so. Head over to Max’s for a better meal on Main in Squan

Your basic diner. Staff is great. Food is adequate. Typically no wait. If you want the basics with a friendly staff, then you will enjoy it. If you want gourmet lunch or breakfast then there are other places to go.

Omg. The staff is so nice and friendly. I get eggs Benedict a lot and the cook alway makes them perfect, not to runny. The hash browns are to die for.

The Paramount is okay. The food is average as are the prices. We used to go there for breakfast about once a week but it became sort of the same old, same old. The staff is okay but they are known to disappear on you. Average would about sum it up.

Second visit to this place and the last. Inattentive service, poor quality omlets and a penchant for anti customer signage. NOOUTSIDEFOODORDRINKSALLOWED. NOPOSTERSNOEXCEPTIONS, WAITTOBESEATED(it is a dinner for heavens sake). This is a perfect example of how not to run a business. Bottom Line: Pass this place up on your way through Manasquan.
