Pizza Spot

So the first impression of this place? Well, its just alright. That’s where I’ll leave the 2 stars.
I got their famed «Grandma Pie» and mozzarella sticks. Mind you, all of this ran a nice penny, tip included, for delivery.
The MS (I’ll shorten for mozzarella sticks) were not very good. The dipping sauce was, but I guess I’m biased because IMO Sheetz has the market when it comes to these savory appetizers. I should just skip everybody else and go right to Sheetz for my MS fix. You should too. I mean, the breading, the stringiness of the cheese, the hotness right out of the fryer, it’s all just–
Oh wait, this is Pizza Spot.
So the MS were not good here, very bland, not tasting all that great. I then went to the pizza, well presented in the box it came in. It is a Sicilian pie, and it was layered very well. Until I started eating. With each slice that I had, the pizza got progressively colder, and the pizza started to taste less like, pizza, and more like bread. Well, upon some of the cheese falling off, I started to notice a little bit of something that they tried to add to mmmph up the quality of the dish.
Garlic.
Yes, garlic.
Look, if you want to make a good pizza? By all means, you need a good dough, rich sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Garlic? Especially the cloves? Probably not. And it started a pattern. They were just all over. It was like Invasion of the Garlic Cloves on this poor Grandma Pie! I could only eat a few slices before I had to take the rest and throw it away because of how pungent it was! Otherwise I would have probably put the rest in the refrigerator and had some more tomorrow.
I cannot recommend this place for pizza. I’m sorry. So with all that said, I’m sticking with Pizza Boli’s until further notice for pizza in the Manassas area.

I always place orders for my children here today we order chicken tenders and fries it all three orders were one box and to top it off the kids chicken and fries were so hard it couldn’t even chew it today was a waste of my money and time I had to buy dinner from another place.

I love this place more every time I order. Awesome pizzas. Tried the wings with sweet chili sauce and breadsticks. They were both great. I certainly don’t find their food overpriced. I have no idea where the other reviewer who complained about price normally orders food, but it must not be in northern VA.

Very average and extremely overpriced. I had high hopes based upon reviews but was really disappointed with the pricing. Strip mall pizza shops really shouldn’t charge restaurant prices and offer small portions. $ 23 for a small takeout pizza and a side of fries?!? On a high note, the cashier was very friendly and the location seemed very clean. The pizza was decent but nothing I’m racing to return and eat.

Excellent service and excellent pizza! You must try the Pizza Alla Vodka! So surprisingly good and it came with a free cheese pizza for the kids!

Ordered here for the first time based off of Unilocalers. The «Godfather» was some food stuff! I like that it wasn’t too doughy. Definitely will keep this place in mind. Next time I’ll ask for extra sauce cause I like saucy pizza. For the price they could have gave a lil more toppings. But the toppings seemed fresh. Definitely better than Dominoes which my wife likes but I hate…

Recently moved to this area and have been trying different pizza places to find my «new pizza place». I found it in «The Pizza Spot». I ordered a 12″…“Godfather” pizza… OUTSTANDING !!! My wife ordered her standard thin crust pepperoni. She ate the entire 12″ pizza… and it was the first time I have ever seen her eat an entire pizza. She loved it !!!
The dessert was disappointing though. $ 9.98 for two «slivers» of chocolate cake ($ 4.99 each). No more dessert there, but definitely pizza.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! That’s all I can say. If you have not tried this place, you are seriously missing out. In a time where most businesses have no clue what good customer service is and could care less about keeping your business, it’s so nice to see there are still places like Pizza Spot that truly care about the customer, making sure you are satisfied while making such great food. Everything I have tried from this place has been just great. The new specialty pizzas are off the hook. I’m a customer for life and will not order pizza from anywhere but here. If you are a new customer, try the wings and pizza alla vodka or lemon chicken cheddar.

Horrible… my pizza was actually inedible. I ordered the godfather and a small cheese and we ended up throwing both away. One of the meats tasted sour. Very odd.40 bucks wasted. The only thing good was the fries. Even the chocolate cake the order guy recommended was off like they used a bitter chocolate to bake it.
Will not order from them again

I absolutely love this place. The staff is friendly and professional. Their pizza is is amazing and their subs are to die for. The restaurant has a very homely feel inside.

We’ve been coming here for the past several years and it’s always been good. Average. We stopped coming for a while due to just wanting to try new pizza places around the area (we’re from NY so we wanted the best pizza). We decided to order a pepperoni pizza last night and they must have upgraded something because this pizza was amazing. Id say the best pizza since we’ve been in the area for the past 6 years. So whatever they’re doing new. Keep it up! Great, great pizza! Oh and the owner is wonderful as well!

We were greeted by a young guy, SUPER kind and very insightful on food selection.
The food is really good (their pizza is phenomenal – fries are to die for).
They were really quick and really nice over there – just great energy!
Will be coming here way more often!

This place is very convenient to my home. They probably have the best NY style pizza in all of Manassas. I’m glad I don’t have to go to far for great pizza

I just have to say I love this place even more than I did before!!! (And that was already a lot!) I still work next door & my employees & I order from here at least 2 – 3 times a week! Food is AWESOME! The place is super clean & employees are always so friendly! They have a variety of different things and everything always taste amazing! :) So happy this place is close to my work! I always recommend it to my clients, family & friends! :) You guys are awesome & make the best pizza!!!

Pizza wasn’t really all that, but the wings on the other hand were amazing. (Spicy garlic)

I tried PS for the first time over a year ago and have had nothing but awesomeness from them! I loooove this place! My favorite meal from here (and one of my favorite things to eat ever!) is their Chicken Cordon Bleu sub. It’s beyond delicious! Chicken, bacon, ham, cheese and creamy Alfredo sauce baked on fresh Italian bread served with awesome seasoned fries and I dip the sub in marinara sauce. Holy mother it’s so freaking good! And it’s like $ 7 and some change for the meal.
My boyfriend gets their Pasta Pie and we really like that too! It’s got penne pasta, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers and lots of cheese baked beautifully together served with garlic bread and salad. Now I don’t like any spaghetti sauce but my own, especially restaurants’ bc it’s always so bland and bitter but theirs is great especially for being an inexpensive, eat in or take out, pizza joint.
Their pizza is excellent, their wings are fantastic and their upside down nacho fries are on point. I couldn’t say a bad thing about this place if I tried. Oh and their young, still in high school, delivery guy who works the counter? Such a sweetie w/​great customer service skills.
It is completely on the other end if town, 20 minutes and 2 zip codes away, and I will drive there just for that and at 10:00 at night I might add. I do wish they’d deliver to my side of town bc I’d order at least once a week if they did!
If you live or happen to be in the Signal Hill area of Manassas Park, DO stop by and order yourself something! You will not regret it! I think I’m going to head over there now! That would definitely hit the «Spot» right now!

My wife and I did not like the pizza at this place, We ordered the «Godfather» Pizza for take home and it was just mediocre, and that is a stretch, for the price, about $ 18, we got a glorified «tombstone» type pizza. That didn’t even taste as good. I grew up in NY, and have lived in CA, FL, and OH. I know what good pizza is, this wasn’t it. The short story, pizza was light on sauce, the meats barely distinguishable between each other, the cheese?.. Couldn’t taste it hardly, possibly due to the tiny amount of it that was sprinkled more similarly to garnish… the crust… tasted like mass produced, grocers freezer, thaw and cook.
I gave the place 2 stars because the cashier (owner?) seemed like a nice friendly, pleasant guy…
I Recommend a better dough for the foundation of a good pizza, and instead of having a laundry list of mediocre toppings, maybe splurge on a better cheese and use a few quality toppings… That would be a signature pie!

Just tried to order from this place, and their website is expired. Called 3 times to try to get a menu emailed. After 3 redemption opportunities to earn my business approximately an hour total, still no menu in hand and no offer of even an appetizer or something to make up for the inconvenience.
MAJOR FAIL= Ordered from Pizza Hut.

Why didn’t I try this place before?!? I don’t need to go to NYC for great pizza anymore! Okay, so I got a calzone, but it has the same stuff and «awesomesauce» literally. I also picked up the Godfather pizza for good measure since the calzone was sooo good. No more chain places for me. Thanks, Pizza Spot!

Precious is going through a wing phase right now so when a menu somehow appeared on our doorstep (even though we live in a no-​soliciting community) she wanted to check it out. She got some wings. We threw about half of them away. I’m cheap so I never throw away anything, but these wings were that bad.
They were soggy. When you get wings, you want some nice crispy wings with the sauce on them. Soggy wings. It seemed like they were left over from the night before. I tried eating a few of them. They were just too awful. We hardly ever discard food.
And another thing: on their menu the map has several streets labeled: Manassas Drive — we know where that is, but it’s a long street. But Andrew Drive, Jessica Drive and Kristy Drive we weren’t familiar with. But what’s NOT on the map is Signal Hill Drive. SIGNAL HILL — they didn’t label that on the map. If they had included Signal Hill on the map, then everyone would know exactly where it is and wouldn’t have to google it. It’s not a big deal, but in its advertising a business should make clear their location. This isn’t even Marketing 101 because it’s just so obvious. Somebody’s elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top at that place.
