I am a new member and so is my daughter. The pediatric nurse was great, but the Dr.‘s here do not formally introduce themselves or ask who you are at all. So a rude interaction to begin with is not a great way to start a relationship. They jump right into business and stare at the computer almost the entire time. I suppose the letter they send home with you that tells you who they are and how happy they are to have you as a patient is supposed to make up for the lack of interaction. Although, he seemed to be a good Dr., and I wouldn’t feel negatively about bringing my daughter back. I can’t say the same for my own Dr.
I had a terrible experience when I went in for a OB-​GYN exam. I had never met the male GYN before, which no one mentioned it was a male prior to my exam. (You couldn’t tell it was a «he» by his name.) He began by asking if I knew I was pregnant, facing the computer (thanks congratulations me! woo); which, was rude to begin with to assume I didn’t know and if I hadn’t known, what a way to find out. I explained my situation, and it was determined I needed a special exam and we needed to switch rooms. I asked if he knew if this special x-​ray I was about to have would be covered, or if he could find out for me. He was very annoyed at this he patronizingly insisted that he needs to do this to make sure «I am OK» and if I need it I should do it because my health is worth whatever it takes. This continued on and on, back and forth between us. It turned into me standing up or myself and that my question was legitimate. He asked why I allowed him to switch rooms if I needed to know this before he completed the exam. It was an all out unnecessary argument. If he had a friendly response to my question– that he really didn’t know the answer and thought it best if we just went ahead with the procedure– that would have been fine.
He continued to go on and on about how people ask about money these days, and then started into political banter as he began the GYN physical exam — so he was telling me about Trump’s family having to not worry about money as he’s giving me a breast exam. Talk about uncomfortable. I was already upset and uncomfortable but the fact that he didn’t smooth the air in the room before he went «right to business» made for the most awkward exam of my life.
No bed side manner. No conversational skills. I felt uncomfortable from the time the nurse left until the I minute I left the building, and then some! If there is not another OB-​GYN to be my new dr., I will be going to one of the other offices (even though the Manassas office is practically in my backyard — shame).

Been a kaiser member for about 5 years now. Always come back here for any health problems. Best services. Everyone was nice and helpful. I’m glad that I became a member.

My script refill said it was ready. I called, told it was ready. Went there, not ready. Told to give it 3 days. Late to work, went there as they said, not resdy. Doc on vacation, covering doc had not checked all week so as a Sat. told to go after work 45 minutes away and go to Urgent care and tell them to waive copay of 40 as it was an oversight. Kaiser booked the appt for me. Went after work, waited 5 hours, and finally got sleep medication. Told to appeal, did in writing, called twice, and 3 months later, they still denied my appeal.
Very frustrating.

The pharmacy staff is very helpful and both my OBGYN and regular doctor are very nice. I haven’t had any problems with any appointments or with any prescription orders. If I did have a problem, it would be with the front staff. There is on women who seem so upset most times and doesn’t try to hide it.

First of all I’m not a Kaiser member but my girlfriend is. So when she is ill or as she is currently, pregnant, she trusts Kaiser knows what they are doing
At the Manassas center I find that they are very helpful
The last time I was there we were having a baby scan the nurses were really nice talking to us and showing us the baby!
She had blood work done and it’s very easy to navigate around the place.
In all it a very good health center that is fast at seeing its patients.
Although if you want a good magazine bring your own!

I’ve been to both the old building and the new building a few times for various ailments and have been pleasantly surprised at the level of service I have received. First of all, I have not yet experienced anyone who wasn’t professional, friendly, and willing to answer my questions (however ridiculous they might be.) Second, I have not had to wait long for my appointments or in line at the pharmacy even during peak times. They really keep the lines moving. The best part is for lab work — you check in there (no standing in line at the main check in), are given a number, and go right into the lab. The only waiting is in the waiting room!
