Awesome place to take your family or just a night out. Small but lots to see. The gift shop is pretty cool as well. If you haven’t been here, definitely check it out. Also, the folks that work here are so nice.

For a small town Civil War museum, I was very impressed by the quality of the exhibits as well as the dedication of the docents. On a quiet Saturday, we got a private tour from an enthusiastic docent who was a wealth of information. Best of all, it’s free(donations welcome).

Wonderful museum with a local flare for history. This museum is in the heart of Old Town Manassas, Virginia. A town with roots steeped in American history, particularly the 1st and 2nd Battle of Manassas. This museum is surrounded by quaint shops and restaurants. A great place to visit.

It was a really nice museum on the history of Manassas through the centuries. The staff was very helpful with guiding us to other spots in Manassas. The museum showed the history not just from the Civil War but from earlier as well as later which was really cool to see.

Great little museum. Definitely would recommend going out of your way to check it out. They have some great artifacts from Manassas; the exhibits shows the history of how people’s lives evolved. If you are a Civil War buff, they have a pretty awesome display of Mosbey’s Rangers with some of their artifacts. The staff here is incredibly friendly and took the time to give us a little introductory talk. Thank you, ladies.
