Worst glass company ever. They didn’t repair the chip to my satisfaction so I asked for a complete replacement. The manager ordered the wrong windshield the first time. The tech called him and told him exactly what was needed as he was standing by my car. Came out a week later with the wrong windshield again! Apparently the manager can’t order a windshield properly and also over books his techs (he had 13 more windshields to do, it was 10a, and they take an hour a piece). Don’t use these idiots! They just don’t care…

These guys were awesome. My car window was broken into yesterday. I called and they fit me in today. I dropped it off early but there was a problem with the new windows (one was the wrong one, one was scratched) so they stayed THREE HOURS after closing to fix my car so I could have it for the next day. They were polite and courteous the whole time and I was well taken care of. Thank you all for making my situation a bit less stressful.

I initially scheduled with a local company, Mr. Cee’s, but they never showed up which I found out later (after my appointment window 10 – 12) that it was due to them not receiving the glass yet. The lack of communication and organization of this made me decide to pay a little more and schedule with Safelite.
I was happy to find out that my experience with Safelite from scheduling to the completion of the work was organized and went well. I showed up 30 mins early but they took it to the back right away and finished in 45 mins! The employees at the Manassas location were friendly and worked fast to finish my windshield. It was a great experience!

SafeLite your a hero, Company saved the day + my cars windshield, Safelite you couldn’t get this far with out hard workers like Anthony, so treat this guy and all the other hard workers well so they stick around and keep providing great service. I’d prefer not to need to have my windshield replaced, but since I did, I am so glad I took my car to the Manassas VA location.
I was able to get the appointment right away. I suggest using the easy internet appointment feature, and it looks like you get a discount for doing so. You might also find a coupon code on RetailMeNot.
Derrick Thompson was a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man who put me at ease. The whole job took just over an hour but the technicians all did a great job.
I was surprised at how reasonable the price turned out to be. I hope I do not need their service again any time soon, but if I have a repair, I will feel secure returning to this location for service.
I certainly did not have the experience I see in the bad reviews of this location.

I’m sorry I went through Safelite. I had two small chips in the windshield. Safelite came out and «attempted» a repair. The technician pumped too much solution into the hole and made a small dent into a huge crack. I would have been better off just leaving a small divot. Now I need to pay for a whole windshield.

Nelson at the front was jerk. Never going back to this location. The work was even done poorly.

I contacted Safelite because this company did great work for me when I needed a window replacement in another State a few years ago. The experience with the Manassas shop was very different.
Booking an appointment online was a breeze. The trouble began when it became necessary to speak to an actual representative. The person I spoke to on the phone was pretty unprofessional. After speaking to her, I was transferred to one of the installers to answer my question. He sounded unsure and gave me information contrary to what two other companies told me.
After speaking with the shop personnel, I didn’t feel confident this Safelite branch would do a good job with my replacement or that they would even care. I decided to cancel the appointment.

Very prompt and courteous service. I feel like they went out of their way to be respectful and finish quickly. Plus they did a great job. I would definitely recommend.

I went in when I got a chip a couple of days ago and they were very quick and efficient. Got my window fixed. Wonderful service. I signed in online to make an appointment and it was very easy to do. I would go back again.

I have had to have my windshield replaced twice. My insurance company uses Safelite and I used this location on both occasions, about 15 years apart. Both times it was a pleasant experience and they took care of the windshield quickly. This time, everything was done online through my insurance company’s website. I received confirmation emails, reminder emails and the mobile technician assigned called the morning of the appointment before coming out. A very easy and smooth transaction. No complaints.

Had a scheduled appointment at the Manassas location, called the phone number provided in the confirmation email (703 number) to let them know I was stuck in traffic and I’d be there 10 – 15 minutes after the scheduled time. The lady on the phone I spoke with said it was fine and to just come on in that I’d still be seen. I get to the location and the guy there tells me they can’t even fit me in for the rest of the day even though I had an appointment. I tell him about calling in and what the lady told me and he said that number is the corporate number. This wasn’t the only issue with them either. A few days ago I had scheduled at home service and got called into work (which is very close to my home location), so I changed the location for service, but kept the same time block. What happens??? They push me to a week later from the original scheduled appointment! I’m a USAA member and this is their go to company, not impressed. I’ll be giving my business to another company.

I took a vehicle in some time back for a very small crack and they worked on it telling me it could not be fixed. They assumed it had some substance on it keeping it from being repaired. Seriously? Fast forward to now. Got a good size star on my windshield from a rock and my insurance uses Safelite. They were coming here on Saturday but the tech got hurt and they had to cancel. Well on Sunday the cold caused this star to crack all the way across the driver side. I called and they said it would have to be replaced. The cost given to my by their 800 number service rep was $ 269.00. I called the shop when they opened and this amount jumped to $ 400 plus with everything factored in. Disposal, new moulding, etc. I started calling several companies and and have a local small one man operation coming to my house on Wednesday. Total replacement cost is $ 225. Another shop was $ 250 and another one $ 275. These were final costs. Shop around and do not use Safelite.

I got a chip in my windshield from a rock thrown up on the highway; the next day I made an appt for them to come to my house and repair, which they did, promptly,
the following day. Also, they were recommended by my insurance company. This
is the second time I’ve used their mobile service for a chipped windshield; the other
time was 6 – 7 years ago for another car. Perfectly satisfied with them!

When you run up and down I-​95 as we do in NoVa, you learn to expect the unexpected.
On a recent Richmond run, I had a rock kick up from a Benz that put a nice chip in my windshield.
My insurance company recommended, this place. They got me in and out in 40 minutes. The staff was professional and friendly.
I would highly recommend them as well.
They also have ‘mobile’ service.

The workers were a little bit off putting, but the work was quick. I was satisfied with the work they did with my windshield.

I have used this company two times now. Once for a windshield repair and once to replace a side window after a break in. For the windshield repair, they came to our house and everything went perfect. For the side window, they said they had the part and we scheduled for them to come to our house, but the tech called that day and said that they didn’t have the part. He said that someone would call us to reschedule when they got the part. I waited a day, but no one called. I called their dispatcher and they said they would have someone call us. No one called. I called again and the dispatcher put me through directly to the shop. They said they did have the part and that I could bring the car in the next day. No big deal I guess, but their customer service could have been better.
Both window replacements were done will and so far, I have had no problems.

We needed our windshield replaced and Safelite quoted us over $ 600. Fortunately my husband called around and got other quotes. We ended up going with someone else and it was $ 229. I can understand prices vary but they were almost three times as much as several of the competitors. I can’t imagine why anyone would pay so much!

A few months ago this company was called up to fix a windshield. A few months later, it cracked. The company was called back and offered to fix it for free. The first time, the guy came out and did not have the correct windshield. The second time, the same thing happened. The third time he was supposed to come between 12 – 5 and by 4.45p hadn’t shown up. The fourth time he was supposed to go to my mother’s place of business (it was for her SUV) and he «got lost» (ie; he didn’t show up). They had someone from the office call the next day to see how the experience has gone… they must be really out of the loop if they didn’t know a windshield replacement had been scheduled FOUR TIMES yet had never been completed…
I don’t know how they’re in business. Use B Safe instead.
