Mimi is the worst. The rest of the ladies do good work but I never pay the same price twice. Not sure where their pricing comes from.

My only experience with this establishment has been less than ideal. The only reason they get two stars is because it was clean. I scheduled to make an appointment today and was told to come in at 3pm. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told that they had multiple walk ins and could no longer help me. That was very unprofessional and definitely left a poor taste in my mouth. I will not be coming back and would not recommend it to others because appointment clients should be prioritized over walk ins.

Unfortunately, I have stopped going to Sassy due to their customer service. I usually get basic manicures, and while that is not an expensive service, I always tip well. However, their technicians began pressuring me to upgrade every time I came. The technician would be doing my nails, then she would have a conversation with another technician in a different language, and then turn back to me with «so why don’t you want gel?» She would ask this several times in various ways, and after multiple «no thank you“s, I felt uncomfortable and like I was wasting her time. It’s sad that they lost a loyal customer over greed. I appreciate that when I go to Urban Nail Spa, I am always treated well, even if I just receive a polish change.

Went in yesterday almost at about 6:45 pm they were busy of course is the holiday season I saw many regulars leaving and you can tell who are the regulars and the ones that are not. It was my first time at this place and I picked my polish and went for a full acrylic set but here is what happened I wanted coffin or like a pointy nail shape and I told her but she was unable to understand so I told her like the ones the lady besides me had and she got mad because I told her when she had already put the acrylic on but why was that she didn’t even say hi to me when I sat down. On top of that she glued down my natural nail to my skin just a bunch of nail glue all over the place. Another thing they use nasty, nasty files and drill bits I don’t think they change those often the files are usually block the one she used on me was completely withe. I never got cuticle oil or even my cuticles trim not even an alcohol wipe non of that. I saw them putting away the pedicure flip flops away and toe separator as a matter of fact for other costumes to use I just can’t tell you enough on top of that I was charged and extra $ 5 because I got a different polish on 2 nails. I’ll give this place a try because the one lady that was sitting next to me got awesome nails and the nail tech really took her time but if I see nasty files and all the other nasty stuff I saw never in my life

Where to start. … I called asking how much a fill would be with gel Polish she told me 20 for everything I was excited and headed to the place. When I got there the lady shows me the colors. She starting doing my nails. Was not friendly at all. I showed her the design i wanted, she said $ 6 extra (no problem), she couldn’t even draw a heart! She offered to give me an extra design on another finger but I said no I don’t like the heart please take it off. She insisted she wanted to make a pink and brown flower and poured the colors before I could say anything. I told her no they are not going to match my nails! Can u just put diamonds on my nail? She said yes. 20 minutes later I’m still sitting there waiting for her to finish (it’s like she didn’t know how to put the diamonds on). After everything was said and done I hated my nails some were not colored all the way, bumpy, and ugly. I went to pay and she said $ 36! I asked her about the call I made and she started yelling at me!!! I will never go there again, I feel like I was attacked!!! Worst nail place ever! Stay away.

I’ve been going to Sassy Nails for about 6 months now, and I am honestly never disappointed. I come from Stafford, Va– about a 45 minute ride– and Lina always exceeds my expectations, my nails are not only beautiful but durable. They last me weeks and stay just as lovely as they were when I left the salon. (And as a hair stylist AND powerlifter, that is awfully hard to do!) She also remembers just how I like my nails– the shape, length, designs, thickness, colors– Lina is absolutely wonderful. The environment is serene, and the ladies there are always so personable and kind. I highly recommend Sassy Nails!

My new favorite place! Came in on a Sunday at 4:30 because my regular place was closing soon (I love that they close at 6!!) Everyone was extremely warm and made me feel welcome. They were able to service me right away as a walk-​in. My technician paid very close attention not to damage my real nails and was super accommodating to my needs. The end result was flawless, I can’t stop staring at my nails. Definitely worth stopping by!

Once again Lina worked her magic taking wonderful care of my feet that were beat up from a Spartan race. She gave them TLC during the pedicure and they look refreshed. Will definitely be returning again a few times before flip-​flop season ends!

Went in today. Tracy did my nails and I wanted a full set but she insisted I just do a refill. In the end she was right. She did a way better job than the other place I went to. The price was OK pretty average. I took off one star cause I got nicked a bit on my pinky but other than that I’m happy.

The only reason this place get 2 stars is because I got my eyebrows done and they look ok and the lady that did my nails was nice. I walked in and was seated immediately. Everything was going well until it came time to polish. A woman walked in behind me and just like most nail salons, the person working on you rushes you out of the chair to seat the new person. My nails are streaky and look terrible. I spent 40 dollars on a paint job a child could have done.
The part that really really pissed me off was when it was time to pay. There was one person in front of me paying. The person behind the counter was very polite to her. I step up to pay and before I can speak she said «50»…that’s it so I said ok and asked for change for a 20 she snatched the cash and walked away in assuming asking around for change. She came back and handed me the cash. I handed her my card… which she also snatched. The receipt printed and she slammed it on the counter. I signed it and turned around to hand my manicurist her tip and when I turned around the other lady smacked my receipt on the counter and walked off. No thank you or anything.

I’ve been hesitant to write a review because I didn’t want to be too hasty to judge, and gave them a few chances to make up for it… But that backfired.
This place is nice and clean, and I almost never have to wait to see a technician.
HOWEVER, I never leave happy with my manicure, and my nails are ALWAYS crooked. The girls are super nice, but they really aren’t great at doing nails.
The last time I went I was told my nails were dry, so I reached into my bag to pay and 3 of my nails got smudged and I had to get them re-​done and wait even longer just for them to dry (again).
My french mani (on different occasion) the whites of the tips were all crooked (all 10 of my nails), and every time I come here they cut the sides of my finger (where the cuticle would be) and my cuticles bleed every single time.
I will definitely be going somewhere else.

Love this place! Stopped in around 5:30 on a Friday night and even though they were pretty busy, they seated me and began work right away! I was blown away by how nice and welcoming the staff was — everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. You can tell the employees take pride in their work based on how clean and organized everything was. They really go above and beyond compared to other salons; they even have different Bath and Body Works soaps at the mani sink! They also use a parafin wax I had never seen before but it smelled amazing and made my hands so smooth. The technician really took her time and didn’t rush at all.
I also really liked that they had a lot of variety in their nail color choices, both regular and gel. They had a ton of different bright and nude colors as opposed to only a few shades of red. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area!

I went in yesterday with my mom for a manicure and pedicure.
Prices — about the same from any other place in Manassas. I think it actually is one dollar less.
Cleaness — pretty good which is something that I appreciate because people who have a low immune system can get really sick when a nail salon does not follow hygine guidelines.
Service — this is why I don’t give then 5 starts and to me they are really 3 ½. While, my nails and my mom’s nails came out great what I didn’t like is that at the beginning my nail tech insisted that I should get shellac or gel. At first I told her no thank you, but she keept in insisting (I hate when people do that because I feel like if I don’t agree to what they want the service is going to be bad which in their defense was not true on this case) so I had to be very firm and said no, I don’t like it. Then, the other nail tech ask my mom. At least she wasn’t as insisting as mine.
That being said, is one of the best places in manassas. In the future I would like to try their facials and update this review.

I came here today as a walk-​in. They immediately got me in, which was nice. I had brought two pictures with me of exactly what I wanted. The first picture I showed them is the one I really wanted. It was simple, yet I was told they could not do it. So, I resorted to my back-​up (included in my pictures). I had asked if they could do this (again, an easy job), and was told they would charge me an extra $ 5 for it, equalling $ 20. It was getting late and I needed my nails done by tomorrow morning, so I didn’t really have much of a choice, so I went with them.
The woman that did my nails was very unfriendly. Never smiled once and only said a few words to me. When we started, she had asked what colors I wanted and I answered black and gold. When it gets to the part where she is about to start painting my nails, I see her grab for a silver nail polish and I had to quickly correct her and ask again for the gold. She went and came back with a nail polish not exactly what I was looking for, but it still had some gold in it.
When pushing back my cuticles, she was very rough and hurt me multiple times. When removing the excess skin, she made me bleed slightly on one of my fingers. And to top it off, after putting lotion on my hands, she went to scrape the lotion out from under my nails with a very pointy tool and stabbed under my fingernails multiple times.
After going through all of this, I ended up with nails that I could have easily have done myself. It looks nothing like I was going for (and the picture clearly showed), and has a ton of silver in it, like I didn’t want.
Granted, this place looks nice, but the customer service needs to be improved, as does the nail work. I won’t be returning here again. I’m almost tempted to take it off when I go home and do a better job, tonight. I wasted my money, unfortunately.

The best salon in manassas! I always get gel manicure and pedicure w/​Tiffany! She by far the sweetest nail technician I’ve ever seen. She very friendly and talkative! The gel process here is great and easy! The salon is clean and attractive! I will never change salons or nail technicians ever again!

I recently just got my nails done with Mimi at Sassy, it was my first time there. Everyone there is friendly and nice, the receptionist offered me a drink because I was a walked in and had to wait (which I don’t mind at all). I’m really picky when it comes to my nails. I got a full set acrylic and shaped round and a little pointy. Mimi didn’t really clean up my cuticles, the shape of my nails aren’t THAT even, you can see the brush mark of the nail polish. She wasn’t very friendly and talkative either. When she finished, she told me 5min then left.
I wouldn’t come back to her again

In my opinion Sassy Nails is the best salon in Manassas. I’m not one to get my nails done every two weeks or whatever but I have been to a few salons in the area and I keep coming back to Sassy.
My first ever manicure experience was with Color Nails and it was a nightmare… I will never forget my nails for my high school graduation. I’ve gone to Urban which was very friendly, and Tokyo which was also very friendly. However, with both places I was not satisfied with the result. The design would be obviously crooked or would peel/​chip within 5 days (Regular wear and good care :-/​).
With Sassy, my nails have always been done exactly how I want them. I’ll leave going goo goo over how good they look. I will say the only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because they do lack a tad in the customer service aspect. I’ve gone in once and my tech spoke no more than 5 words to me and checked her phone constantly… That was annoying but of course that was once out of the many times I’ve been there. Usually they’re just pretty quiet or only talk amongst themselves. That’s fine by me, I’d rather have my nails done perfectly by someone silent, than badly by a friendly acquaintance. No one at work sees the experience you received, they see the work done on your nails and like I said, I have been more than satisfied with the quality every time.

I came in without an appointment around 730pm. They took me right away and said it was no problem.
l chose the color I wanted and BOOM, Nancy went right at!!!
She clipped the excess skin around my nails without hurting me at all (which is rare bc everyone else is so aggressive with the removal process).
She evened out my nails, and gave me a nice hand massage along with a nice wax process with my nails. I’ll definitely be coming back again and it’s totally worth $ 15! My nails come out beautifully!

All of the other positive reviews really «nail» this place, per se; it is clean, nicely kept, the staff is nice, and they are always trying to make you comfortable and feel at home. I won’t beat you over the head with repeating that. I love this place, and it is so close to my apartment!
I would say the only thing that is frustrating is walking in on a weekend and getting help immediately. They are always busy, but make an effort to take friends together if they come in, so that’s still really cool. I had a little sticker shock after my last trip… A manicure and pedicure, with tip, put me over $ 80.

I was in a need for a manicure and figured since I was in this area I would find a place to stop in to get one. I found this place via Unilocal and figured I would give it a shot. I was a walk in and didn’t have to wait. My manicurist was very fast but efficient. I was impressed with the fact the manicure comes with a paraffin wax hand treatment with a massage before my nails were painted. My manicure turned out okay but not perfect. I was happy with the color choices and how fast it took.
