Business Owner

Melissa Brooks has been in the Massage and Skincare industry since 1997. She became interested in massage therapy while in Nursing school and has been practicing healing arts ever since. She is experienced in various techniques including Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Raindrop Therapy, Reiki and many Spa treatments. In 2003, Melissa traveled to Thailand to study Thai Massage and Herbal treatments. This has been a large focus in her practice. She is also certified to teach Infant Massage, Yoga and Qigong.

Had the pleasure of getting a chair massage from Melissa at a girls night event at Barrel Oak Winery. I lost her card and accidentally went to massage envy in Gainesville (never will return). When I finally located her again I immediately made an appointment and I am so happy I did! I got a traditional swedish but asked her to focus on my neck and shoulders as that is where I hold a lot of tension. Melissa is the best masseuse I have been to since my previous masseuse and friend moved to NYC! She does a great massage, is incredibly responsive and listens to exactly what you want to have done. It is a clean, peaceful environment and is not too far away from my house, although I would drive out farther if she moved!

Just had a much needed deep tissue massage today. I’m happy I picked this place, It seems the therapists are well trained in a variety of massage including Thai. Fantastic, knowledgable massage therapists. They ask lots of questions to zero in on exactly what you’re looking for in terms of therapy, and they go to great lengths to achieve it. They offer a large variety of therapies, are very clean and organized, and is in short the best massage place I’ve been to, and it’s right in our backyard. Will absolutely go back, and I’ve been twice already.
