Tree Work Unlimited gave me the cheapest price out of 4 companies — cheap by a lot. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. They did a big job, that turned out to be a big headache for me and 2 of my neighbors. On top of that, they ended up not completing the initial job that was quoted, and it spanned almost 2 weeks — granted some due to rain/winds. But there were days it was nice but they opted to show up 1 – 2 days later. Finally, the damages they incurred on my property and neighbors property — that they never did come back and fix. They took the money and promised to fix a few things for me. It’s been over 2 weeks — the Manager would text me they will show up the next day, but never will. Now I come to realize it’s a scam and I am stuck with all the damages to handle — not worth the savings i thought I’d get with a more professional establishment. Overall, do not trust these guys or at least be warned and do not pay them in full until you are satisfied. In general though, the contractors they got and crew were nice folks. But this company just has no accountability and i doubt they have any real insurance for damages. I noticed the other complaints within the past year.

They removed two trees and trims some of my trees. The quality of work was okay and the price was okay, too; however, They left and hid 6 – 7 big logs and big branches at the borderline between my yard and my neighbor. I found out that by my neighbor and I asked them to take these ASAP. It has been more than two months and it seemed they don’t care any more even they promised they would. I had to work myself for 2 hours to drag and removes these logs because of my neighbor’s complaint repeatedly. I am highly not recommended. Well. thoes logs and branches are still in my yard because these are too big to remove completely by myself. I paid but I still have a problem…

I hired one of Treework Unlimited’s subcontractors to cut one tree that was partially blown over in a recent storm and would eventually crush my shed and/or fence. Originally when Ronnie was going door to door he was there with another guy and they had plenty of tools in their truck and he showed proof of insurance and business licensing. When I called Ronnie to come back out he showed up by himself, walking, in sandals, with a pole saw. No other tools. Against my better judgement, I got my ladder out so he could climb on top of my shed to get to work. I have to say that I was impressed with how much he was able to get done with just the pole saw and how well he cleaned up what he did cut. Unfortunately he cut everything except about a 12 foot section of the trunk. He was a good talker and we had conversations about life, upbringing, business practices, etc. He promised that he would return the next day and cut the trunk. I was not going to be available to be there the next day and because he had done so much of the work I was stupid enough to pay him and expect him to come back. Several days and calls later I was able to speak to Ronnie and he said he would come back. Now several weeks and multiple unanswered calls and texts later, Ronnie’s phone is out of service. There is one 5 star review and a one star filtered review on Unilocal. My situation is eerily similar to the filtered review. It is also funny that during our conversations Ronnie mentioned that the owner of Treework Unlimited, Richard Ryals, had screwed so many people they did not like to mention they were associated with him. Seems like the owners business practices have rubbed off on the subcontractors. Search Treework Unlimited in your preferred search engine and you will see what I wish I had seen before allowing Treework Unlimited start in my yard. At least he got it to a point where I feel comfortable completing it. I just need to buy or borrow a chain saw. Do not use a subcontractor for Treework Unlimited named Ronnie.

Needed to get several trees pruned that had limbs overhanging the roof of my home and the neighbors house. Got 3 quotes and by Treework Unlimited was the most competitive. I have to say I had my doubts at first after reading other negative reviews online. So contacted the owner and asked for proof of business license and insurance, which they gladly provided. All checked out good. Did not ask for any deposit upfront either. Checked out the work later in the day and they did a great job. Everything I asked for was done and cleaned up well. Would recommend and use them again.
