I was recently referred to Dr. Motamedi by my general dentist for a procedure that needed to be done. Upon meeting him, Dr. Motamedi took the time at the beginning of my visit to talk to me to make sure I knew exactly what needed to be done and what the effects of the procedure were. He also thoroughly went over my post-​operative care with me so that I knew how to take care of my teeth after the procedure once I got home. He constantly asked if I was comfortable during the procedure and before I knew it, it was over! After my procedure, the front desk staff was kind enough to call and ask how I was doing and if I had any questions prior to my check-​up that was schedule later in the month.
I can recommend VA smiles without hesitation. Dr. Motamedi and his staff are super friendly and take their time with you. I have never felt rushed at any of my visits. I would go back to Dr. Motamedi every time I needed to see a periodontist!

I was recently referred to this office by a friend who’s a regular. As someone who isn’t ecstatic about visiting the dentist, I only have great things to say about my experience here. Thanks to the staff, I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly and easily (same day). My examining doctor, Dr. Motamedi was very courteous, comprehensive, and explained everything very clearly, in laymen’s terms, so I could understand everything involved related to my dental needs/​care. In addition to the dental examination, I also did the Zoom teeth whitening and was very, very pleased with the results. During the procedure, Dr. Motamedi and the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure the process went smoothly and effectively. I cannot be any happier with the service I was provided here, by both the staff and Dr. Motamedi. I will definitely be returning for all my dental needs.

I was able to get an appointment the day after I called for a cleaning and teeth whitening and when I got there everyone was super friendly and welcoming.
The practice is conveniently located off Sudley Road, in the same building as the PNC bank, on the top floor.
I came in for a routine cleaning and Dr. Motamedi spent a good amount of time making sure my bite was perfect! He was so thorough, and explained every detail as he went along. My teeth feel extremely clean and smooth and I was even able to get a Zoom whitening treatment the same day. The staff did a great job accommodating me and putting me at ease, amazingly personable too!

I don’t know a lot about dentistry, but I do know that being in the dentist’s chair while people stick fingers and picks and other foreign objects in your mouth can be a very uncomfortable and distressing experience. However the dentists, dental hygienists and even the office staff here make me feel comfortable, welcome and relaxed.
More than once my dental appointment at Sasan Ahmadir, DDS’s office has been the best part of my day.
I would like to give special credit to the dental hygienist (who’s name I am embarrassed to admit I cannot remember), who is very cute, very friendly and very approachable. I love the sound of her voice and she is without a doubt one of the kindest people who has ever stuck things in my mouth.

Recently had a procedure done and was experiencing some discomfort. I called to see if I could get an apt and was given one the very next day. Then things went down hill from there. never seen a dentist only a tech, said that there was nothing wrong that they could see and sent me on my way. Two weeks later and a round of X-​rays it was discovered I had major issues and the dentist wanted to know why I didn’t come in when I first experienced discomfort. Now i need thousands of dollars of work done. Will be finding a new dentist. You think when you call for an apt you get to see a dentist not a tech. Worst experience ever

I enjoy coming here. They just recently remodeled their office and it looks night and day difference! Very modern and warm feeling compared to the typical «dentist office» that looks and feels cold and uninviting.
This is close to our house and I like that they are willing to work with us if there is an emergency dealing with our mouths.
Every time we go they recommend the best possible solutions and not just this is what you need for «today» type of thing. There is a bigger picture and it’ s nice to see a long term picture rather than someone that is just trying to focus on making a sale or procedure for today.
The staff is extremely nice and personable. I would recommend going here. I’ve had bad experiences with other places and this office has met every expectation and gone beyond them!

I recently went to Dr. Motamedi for a second opinion for a dental implant that needed to be done. I decided to go to this office because they have a general dentist and specialist in the same office/​location. The staff was very courteous when I called, and they were able to schedule me an appointment within a few days. Dr. Motamedi was very professional, approachable, and gave me an honest evaluation. He spent a lot of time evaluating my mouth and discussed my options. I finally decided to have the treatment done at his office. Shortly after my surgery I received a call asking how I was doing and if I had any follow up questions. Overall, I was very pleased with their customer service! I highly recommend this office based on my personal experience with all the office staff and doctors.

This dentist practice recommended a lot of unnecessary dental work and charged outrageous prices for the work he recommended. The unnecessary work was confirmed by a 2nd opinion visit to another dentist. Their office staff has also refused to filed my dental insurance claims, even though they are listed as a preferred provider by the insurance company and their office staff has outright lied to me on several occasions about dental claims being filed that turned out never to have been filed! Avoid this dentist’s offices at all costs! I visited his office on Plantation drive in Stafford.

I agree with Dennis! They overcharge for their services and tell you that you need unnecessary work done. They care more about making money than the welfare of their patients. I went several months ago and they are still trying to bill me, even though my insurance has already paid them month’s ago-​FAIL. The dental hygienist was very nice and funny but that was the only good thing about the place. I won’t be going there again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I made an appointment with them because they had a coupon in the Money Mailer for new patients, you get an exam and all necessary xrays for $ 60. But, they did not tell me, till after I got it done and paid the $ 60, that I had to pay another $ 35 to get a copy of the xrays.
Their prices on the work I needed were very high even with a «no dental insurance» discount. The office is not very nice and not the cleanest I’ve seen. The staff is very rude. If you ask them to do anything for you, they give a lot of attitude.
I paid the $ 35 for my xrays and took them to somene else. I will never go back to this dentist and I do not recommend them to anyone else.
