Waggin’ Tails Junction

I am appalled at the condition my dogs were in when I picked my dogs up. It was their first day and they were being evaluated to determine if they paired well behaviorally with the other dogs. Well I guess they have «different» flooring which I was informed about when I dropped them off. It’s apparently concrete and gravel and is too rough on their feet, which they even stated to me over the phone when they called to update me on their evaluation. They called me during the middle of his evaluation and said they played (and I quote) «intense» fetch/​ball. Both of my dogs’ paws were raw and blistered. They literally couldn’t walk! They called to tell me during my evaluation update that my dogs «would be sore» assuming she meant muscle soreness. Even when they asked how often I was looking to bring them in and they recommended 1 to 2 times a week to allow their feet to adjust to their flooring. Had I known that they would have aggressively played my dogs on concrete and gravel, knowing they were there during their evaluation (so they obviously weren’t «adjusted» to their flooring) I would never have brought them here. I absolutely will never bring them back and I have already contacted my vet to inform them of the harshness and aggressiveness that absolutely could have been prevented!!! They agreed that it was not appropriate handling. The blisters have popped and the rawness is starting to scab over and my poor boys’ paws are finally healing (three days after their visit).

My husband and I have large mixed breed dog who is very energetic, but very skittish from her experiences before we got her (she was in and out of shelters and on the street, and has some health problems as a result). We have tried other kennels and haven’t been happy with them, but we love Waggin Tails. The whole staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable, and clearly love animals! For boarding, the kennel also offers add ons like play time and extra treats that make us feel better when we have to leave our pup. When we used other kennels, our dog would come back exhausted and seemed a little depressed, but when we pick her up from Waggin Tails she is always happy and well-​cared for. They are also great with special needs. Our dog had hurt her leg and needed to rest it (but we still wanted her to play). Not only did Waggin Tails take special care of her, but when we came to pick her up the leg pain seemed to be entirely gone. Thanks so much Waggin Tails!

We have a 2 year old husky and we had boarded her here several times and had been pleased. We made a reservation for last weekend because we were traveling to NYC. I mistakenly told my husband that they were open until 7pm on Thursdays nights for drop off. When we figured out my mistake, the woman who was there offered to stay an extra HOUR to accommodate our needs. My husband said she was very pleasant and excited to see our dog upon their arrival. We had planned to pick up our dog that Sunday between 6pm & 8pm, but due to horrible traffic, we couldn’t make it in time. I called and explained our situation and they were so great about it. Then much to my surprise said as long as I was there by 11a Monday, they wouldn’t charge us another day. Now, we’ve boarded several places through the years, including our own vet, and NONE of them have had this kind of customer service. In addition, our dog comes home happy and they always take care of her. I highly recommend this kennel and commend them for actually going the extra mile. Thank you all so much!

I take my 6 month old English Bulldog to the daycare at Waggin’ Tails Junction. She loves going there and playing with her «friends». The staff is friendly and super sweet to my baby. I highly recommend Waggin Tails.

My husband and I adopted a puppy recently and realized that she needed a little more activity then we were able to provide during the day. I researched 4 daycares and Waggin’ Tails was the one I chose. I am so thankful that I did. My puppy just started there last week but she loves it. She has fun, she is excited when we get there and she is peacefully sleepy the rest of the evening. They are extremely well orgainzed, friendly, helpful, and really quite affordable based on the service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for daycare for any type of dog, young or old. Another bonus is that they post a video or two each day and I love watching them and looking for my baby. Two Paws up for Waggin’ Tails Junction.

Whenever I need boarding I take my dog here. They take good care of her, and the people there are friendly. The place is kept very clean and I just feel comfortable leaving my baby there. When I bring her in she goes with one of the workers and she runs in the back. I’ve taken her to other kennels and she was very hesitant, but here she felt at home; probably because she had training here also. In the Summer they fill up quickly so I have to make sure I call ahead of time.

Waggin’ Tails is simply wonderful.
We, my husband and I, have a 9+ year-​old lab mix who, over the past few years, has gone blind from an incurable disorder. We had started using Waggin’ Tails as a boarding provider a few years before the onset of her troubles, and even used the day care facilities when I was required to work on a client site. Over the past couple of years the combination onset of the blindness and a new job necessitating my working regularly outside of the home office have increased our presence there dramatically (3+ days a week). I honestly don’t know if we could have gotten through it all without them. Their staff is involved, loving, highly educated on the needs of all pets. They handle the barrage of medications with aplomb, stay in contact with the vet, and show genuine interest in our dog and her continuing welfare. Getting a naturally skittish and recently blind dog to socialize and demonstrate confidence is a challenge at best and they’ve been with us in it every step of the way.
There is no place I would recommend more strongly — I’d take them home with me if I could.

Waggin Tails team is terrific! Great playtime and daycare for the pups. All seem very genuine and warm with the clients. The only thing I wish is that someone was there overnight as the dogs are left alone from 7 pm to 7am.
