Bigger Faster Stronger Training

So what can I say about my first workout at Bigger, Faster, Stronger Training… he kicked my ass… or at least my glutes’ ass.
Wait, what??! Do glutes have asses — or are they part OF the ass. In any event, it was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. To be trained. To be driven. To be coached on techniques. To learn to ‘embrace the pain!’ (Yes, that too!) Perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself… so let me go back and start from the beginning.
The wife and I read a LOT about different, local training facilities and really wanted to try one. We chose Bigger, Faster, Stronger Training because it was close to home and was the most reasonably priced High-​Intensity Interval Training out there!
At our first meeting, my wife Rachel and I sat down with Mike O’Hara and he talked about US… our goals, what we were looking for (group training), our schedules, our kids, etc. FYI — Mike provides awesome personal 1:1 training as well.
We also learned that Mike is VERY passionate about what he does AND about his support our U.S. Veterans as a volunteer for Team RWB (This is a HUGE plus for me, as we all need to make an effort to appreciate and give back to those that serve/​have served this country).
We were so impressed and MOTIVATED by one meeting with Mike, we decided to get over our apprehensions and returned 2 nights later for our first ever group training class. There were only 2 other people in the class that night, which allowed Mike to give personal attention to our form and techniques — which we were in desperate need of.
Since then, we have been hooked. Mike is personable, caring, motivating, funny = the kind of guy you want your trainer to be. He coaches and cares. He drives you, and is personally driven. He is candid and direct. He can be a Drill Sargent, or not. He really is just about whatever you need him to be because he trains novices (like us) as well as professional-​grade athletes.
Mike will be successful in the world, because he knows who he is, he knows where he’s going, and he is passionate about helping others to succeed. He knows how to get those 1, 3 or 5 more reps out of you that you didn’t think you had in you. Now YOU want to succeed too! In fact, we met a couple that drive for almost 1 hour EACH way to attend a 1 hour class — which would be hard to believe — but we’ve seen it.
If you are looking for that extra spark to get you going, I encourage you to take two steps for yourself; 1.) go in an talk with Mike and see what he is about, 2.) attend 2 classes or training sessions. These are two small steps that YOU can take for yourself that will help achieve your goals of being more fit, feeling better both of which can change your life.

Personal training at its best. Rates are extremely fair and affordable for what you get. Mike provides you with the training and instruction required in order to see results as quickly as possible. Great communication during and post workouts and is highly reliable when it comes to scheduling. Phenomenal experience.

I trained with Mike O’Hara for two years and I enjoyed every minute of it. Mike knows his stuff and will build a custom program for whatever your goals may be. While working out with him I was in some of the best shape of my life. His workouts with me were great mix of activities I already knew, but he always went out of his way to create something I had never seen or done before. Lastly, Mike is just a great guy to spend a couple hours with every week and was VERY accommodating to my sometimes ridiculous scheduling needs. This man truly changed my life. I can’t say enough about what he can do for you. After I got out of the military, my workout routine greatly suffered. I ballooned to over 22% body fat and the heaviest weight I had ever been. In a little over 3 months, Mike took to the best shape I had ever been I. And only 7.5% body fat.
