I’ve worked in a respected recording studio as an assistant engineer and I’ve recorded in several different studios including high end places. Parrot Tracks can stand with any of them for quality of result, is one of the best at any price in terms of offering a welcoming environment in which to record, and pretty much takes the top prize in the Value for Money category.
Owner/​engineer, George Coyne has excellent ears, is quick while never being rushed and when he makes a comment of suggestion it’s usually a pretty damn good one. He also has very good attention to detail and is organized. Comes from decades of experience in all sorts of different environments and situations.
Parrot Tracks Studio is now my go to recording studio in Austin. Hands down.

The Studio is well-​appointed, friendly, and calming. George is not only a first-​rate engineer, he has an well-​tuned ear, offers great suggestions, and produces quality music that is better than you thought it would be.
He is a fine guitar and dobro player himself and can add those touches to your music himself. He also has contacts to outstanding studio musicians and vocalists. He is well-​versed in the CD production market and will help advise you about choices to have your music duplicated when you finish with the studio phase.
George is also an outstanding luthier and can adjust and repair your stringed instruments.
If you are a pro and just need a track tweaked or a newbie and want to be guided through the process, Parrot Tracks Studio is the place.
