Towing K & S

My GEICO roadside assistance set me up with Towing K&S … and I couldn’t have been more thankful! Carmelo saved the day when I was locked out of my car (and which apparently had a dead battery) at the FastPark early on a Sunday morning. He had my car open and running within 10 minutes of arriving. I will recommend them to anyone needing roadside assistance!

I had to use them with my GEICO insurance. After reading the reviews I cancelled because I was a little scared of the negative reviews. Because Geico didn’t have anyone else to offer with better reviews I chose k & S. Damien showed up to rescue my Hello Kitty car after the tires had been slashed! Damian was very nice very courteous and polite! Great guy I was so pleased to have him show up he traded my little car with Care and took me with him to drop it off to get new tires. I hope that you had a great experience and hopefully you get a man to come to the rescue! I highly recommend him.
This was the best experience I have had with a towing company!

I’ve used this service twice now, and I’m conflicted because both times were through my insurance company for roadside assistance– the first experience was great, the second, HORRENDOUS. I don’t even know what the guy’s name was, because he did not give me a receipt, since it was covered by the insurance. Geico contacted them, sent him to my house, and apparently gave him the incorrect phone number or address? I want to point out that I waited for this guy for an hour and a half, which I know can be normal for this kind of service, but he called my phone after who knows how long he had been waiting outside my house, where my car was obviously parked and he already had an accurate description of. Additionally, I live in a neighborhood that has ONE other house next to us that’s very obviously completed and has occupants living in it — point being, he could have gotten off his bum and knocked on either door. 50 – 50 chance the owner of the vehicle lives in either of those 2 houses. So, I get a call 15 minutes after he’s supposed to be here, it sounds like he’s talking to someone else, so I hang up and call back and it goes to his voicemail. At this point, I go outside and there he is, so I greet him and he proceeds to yell at me for him waiting «30 minutes» outside my house because he was given the incorrect information. All I said was that it was NOT my fault that that happened and that I tried calling back. I came outside shortly after AND he did not need to be such an asshole about it. I already have a flat tire, I don’t need you to make my Sunday that much better. Seriously, worst experience ever. I sat in total silence from there to the tire shop, which at least turned my day around.

I’ve had to use these guys twice in the last month for car issues and they are super friendly and they didn’t charge anything unreasonable. I only gave 4 stars because the dispatcher or whoever the woman is who answers their phone is rude and has a nasty attitude. Both times I’ve called, she’s been a displeasure to have to speak to. Their phone line cuts out and it’s difficult to hear her sometimes but if I ask her to repeat herself, she sounds totally exasperated and irritated. They need to get this cranky old grump off their phone and put someone else with a nicer attitude on the job. People who have to call for a tow aren’t usually having a pleasant day and it doesn’t help having to deal with someone who is rude and snarky. The tow guys get 5 stars, however.

K&S was recommended to me. They charged us extra $ 30+ just to move it into slightly into a straight line to tow out of my driveway. If we would have know that would cost so very much more we would have either straightened it out ourselves… but more likely chosen another towing company! Boo!

Pissed off a tow truck driver today for cutting us off at the cross walk, with a baby! I told him he was an a-​hole and he decided to follow us home and scream obscenities and try to get Us to «get our b*tch a$$es off our bikes and quit being a coward.» Um. With a baby? Really? Coming up side streets at every turn and intentionally trying to scare us and threatening us. I called his employer who said they get «people calling all the time threatening social media and police reports. Heard it before. and Icouldn’t give two shits about your side of the story and if you’re such a bored c*nt You can file your stupid police report seeing as how You’ve got nothing better to do.»
So I did. And I am.
K & S Towing is okay with their drivers threatening people and trying to run over infants.
Not sorry I called him that, but obviously a huge lapse in judgement on my part.

Avoid this place. The attitude starts at the top with the owner. Displays total contempt for the customer.
I can’t understand how they can stay o n business. I watched them browbeat a perfectly nice lady. Bullies.
This guy acts exactly like the people in St Louis who got shut down because they had a sweetheart deal with the cops.

I love how everyone but the tow truck drives have to follow the parking rules. These guys pick up car from another tow lot and park in front of where I work. We have up No tow truck parking but they park any way. We have asked them not to park in our parking and please do not block our driveway and they are very rude and say its going to be 15 to 20 minutes and we will move. Mean while our drive way is blocked and our customer parking is blocked! A car would get towed for this but who do you call to tow a tow truck? So think about it do you really think its a good idea to let a rude person that thinks they can park anywhere tow your car? I think its a bad idea.

I had a great experience about three weeks ago with K&S. My car battery was dead and they came in less than 30 minutes and helped me jump the battery. I also had a hard time closing the hood of my car and the driver hung out for about 20 minutes trying to help me get it closed. He didn’t have to do that plus it was late at night so I really appreciated him helping.

My auto shop told me to use them to get my car to him.
I was worried reading the reviews here.
The man they sent was both pleasant and helpful. My electrical system was fried and the driver showed me how to unlock the steering and transmission on my Acura even though though there was no juice at all in the system.
The truck arrived quickly, the man put my car on the truck and took it to my shop just down the road. I picked up my repaired vehicle that afternoon.
As my shop promised the charge for the tow was detailed on my repair invoice and was ten dollars less than quoted.
I can’t speak for anybody else, but for me they were quick, helpful and charged less than what they told me.

These guys are complete ASSHOLES! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY– CALL SOMEONE ELSE! They are bullies and are out to get money. Did you know, if you use this towing company, they will send you a «letter» in the mail… And charge you $ 50 for it? Yes, my receipt came in the mail and there was a $ 50 fee when I came to pick up my car! The lady in the office refused to explain the charges and could not show me in writing anywhere how the charges apply, or why. The main guy driving truck #701 is a racist, sexist, overbearing and insufferable know it all that will interrupt you when you are trying to plan or decide what your next steps should be. He is sleazy and defensive, and goes out of his way to ‘outsmart’ your plan of action if it doesn’t include an unnecessary amount of extra towing from his company. This guy tried to tell us the car was totaled and we were completely unable to drive it, and said he would gladly take it to HIS «collision center», and he would do it for a «bargain deal». So when we were finally able to come to a decision without him interrupting us with his flawless wisdom, suddenly his tune changed and the car magically became driveable! That’s because he didn’t want to actually do the work to hook up our car and he wasn’t happy that we weren’t going to use HIS shop, so he said we could drive it. Interesting change of story jackass! The only reason they’re getting one star is because Unilocal was forcing me to put a rating! I go with NO stars for this blood thirsty company!

Lost a wheel off a boat trailer while towing to a repair shop… ironic I know. Anyway, called the nearest tow service to me and they couldn’t handle the job so they referred me to K&S. Needless to say, I was pissed because of the situation and when I heard that they were going ot have to send the «big» truck with the flatbed I just saw $$$ flashing in front of me. A few minutes later, Eric from K&S pulled up and instantly put me at ease. He made jokes and made me think it wasn’t as big of a deal as I was thinking it would be. Really put me in a better mood. He had a bit of trouble getting the boat on the tow truck, as to be expected with only one wheel! 30 minutes later the boat was in my driveway so I could attempt to repair it and best of all… it only cost $ 85.00! Great company, friendly employees from the person that answered the phone to the tow truck driver himself. Very professional and personable. As bad of a reputation that towing companies get I can honestly say K&S shouldn’t fall into that group. Awesome job!

For the situation I was in these guys were friendly. They took care of my vehicle while it was in the lot.

Driver was reckless. If it was my white Chevy Lumina/​Malibu being recklessly woven and speed thru construction zone on HWY I would be pissed!!!

Zero stars for being in such a slimeball industry.
Five stars for being genuinely friendly on of the worst days of my life. Or at least faking it.
Average=2.5 stars, rounding up to 3.
So next time you get towed, try K&S, and you’ll be not as pissed off as with the other guys!
PS They got $ 214 for having my car about 36 hours? Damn, I’m in the wrong business.
