Paid Apple Store nearly $ 300 to refurbish a macbook pro. Lightening port malfunctioned but they refused to stand behind their work. Dishonest, dishonorable company.

This is only the second time I’ve set foot in an Apple Store. This store is fairly new, opened about a year ago I think. My friend visiting from Scotland had to make a pilgrimage. He’s been trying for over 20 years to convince us to drink the «Kool-​Aid», but other than finally getting iPhones three or four years ago, and receiving our first iPad (yes ok, a few upgrades since) from my husband’s employer as a thank you gift, we haven’t fully succumbed. Give it another 20 years. ;)
My chum initially said he didn’t need any more tech gadgets, but I knew he was kidding himself. He claims he was trying to be good. Uh huh. Sure enough he found the new Magic Trackpad at a much better price than he could pay in Edinburgh, $ 129 instead of £109. Customer rep, Bruce, was very helpful and chatty. I’m still not swayed, but it was a pleasant experience.

The Service was amazing … I had so much trouble with my Mac book and with buying a new iPhone and especially the Store Manager Jeff (thank you so much again) took so much time to deal with all my issues and helped me where he could!
