Today my sister and I had lunch with my two kids. We thought of the great lunch specials bertuccis has and gave it a try. We were so happy with our experience. It’s hard to dine out with the little ones. They were fast with their food and we loved how the kids meals came with a little ice cream. Our server Emma, was so nice and definitely went above and Beyond.

We had a very bad experience with them Saturday night. While the server was generally attentive(and frankly doing her best), from being seated to finally getting our orders, it took 1.5 hours(it’s pizza!). We had 3 young kids with our party squirming all over the place.(What good kids-they made it without a tantrum– a testament to their awesome mother). The server kept saying the food was coming shortly, then bringing us bread rolls, and would disappear for another 20 – 30 minutes. I never got a refill offer on my salad. After 1.5 hours, my sister-in-law finally complained, and the manager came over to speak with us and apologized, saying that they got«slammed» and that our order was 2 tickets from being up.(it still took 20 minutes from then to have our food come out, and it did not come out all at once. My husband had to wait while everyone else was eating). What pissed me off what that have an open kitchen; I could see the line working. They were moving like molasses, joking around, and goofing off. There was no expeditor making the kitchen staff move. They should either get more staff for peak hours, or tell me truthful how long the food is going to take. Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining. The attitude of «what can I do, it’s not my fault we’re slammed» is inappropriate, and it puts the onus on the customer to deal with it. He should have comp’ed us a meal, apologized and not offered excuses. 2 hours to get a cheese pizza! For now, I’ll go to the Bertucci’s in Glastonbury — I won’t be back.

Visited this location last week only because our school was having a fundraiser there. When we arrived, were not acknowledged at all, even though our host was standing right there. After about 10 minutes or so, I asked him if we were supposed to put our names in or what, and a very snippy female manager approached me and said that they were«overwhelmed» that night or something to that effect, even though there were lots of empty tables. When we were seated, there was a fork on the floor under the table. No biggie, but still, really? The food came quickly, but it was not good. I had the lasagna, it was burnt and very hard on top. Our kids had the kids pizzas, those were kids pizzas, so what did we expect? My companions had shrimp scampi, which they said was acceptable. Overall, a very shabby, worn looking place in need of updating in a mall. Would not go back.

Service was friendly and prompt. The rolls are delicious. The VERDE pizza had interesting ingredients but was overcooked. The dough isn’t right for a pizza and it comes out too dry, tough to cut. The mozzarella loses flavor and texture. The salad looked good. The wines are pricey by the glass, even with the extra pour. But it’s quiet and a good alternative in the mall. Better choices nearby in Evergreen Walk.

If I could eat Bertucci’s sweet italian sausage and ricotta cheese pizza everyday, I would. Even better, it’s one of those places that I don’t feel guilty about going to afterwards. No greasy pizza pat downs needed.

Had chicken picatta, chicken parm and the three cheese ravioli. All were very good. Lunch comes with rolls and salad. Had to ask for the salad, waitress was rude about it. «Well I asked you if you wanted anything else» considering it was included in the price of the meal didn’t think I needed to ask for it! Service was slow at best but the food made up for it.

Ordered the Chicken Domani for lunch with a Samuel Adams Latitude 48IPA. Service was very good, albeit a bit slow on a pasta dish, but in all it was a good meal. Would recommend asking they drain off the excess water from the pasta, as it took away from the little bit of white wine sauce I could hardly taste.

Well first, the service was absolutely horrid. My girlfriend and I sat there for twenty minutes before our waitress greeted us. We ordered our drinks so we didn’t have to wait another twenty minutes. Twenty minutes later the waitress handed me the worst old fashioned I’ve ever had. It tasted like water, bourbon, and artificial fruit juice. I sent it back and got an IPA. 15 minutes past and the waitress informed me they were out of the IPA I ordered so she just gave me a different beer, which she charged me for. 1 and 30 minutes there, we finally got our meals. Good food but not worth the price. I had a bad experience with this place so we both decided we were not going to return. If that wasn’t enough, a few days later my bank account seemed lower than I was expecting. I checked and it said that bertucci’s charged me $ 700 + for a $ 60 tab?! How is that even possible?!? I stormed in and talked with a few managers who finally took care of the issue. Any good company would apologize and give the customer a small gift, not this place. I got charged full amount, with no discount or gift card. Very displeased with this place. Do not go.

Waitress was good but food was horrible. Soup very, very salty. The salmon I ordered came drenched in oil and the side potatoes soaking in oil. Salmon was not fully cooked and luke warm. My aunt had crapcakes and on menu says«chunks» of crabmeat but it was shredded crabmeat. The string beans soft and soaked in oil. Bread was very good though. Never would I go back there. Nothing Italian about this place.

This place gives off some very strong chain restaurant vibes, due to the overall«Italian» menu, the location and crowd. However, they do deliver some decent food, even if it is a little predictable — and they are convenient. The real standout was our server, who was prompt, friendly and hilarious. I ordered the(seasonal) item — the lobster cobb salad; it had a decent amount of claw meat, as well as a hearty helping of other typical cobb salad items: tomatoes, hard boiled egg, etc. it seemed to be the most heart healthy item on the menu, the bulk of which consisted of various pastas. The salad was a bit overdressed, which meant my leaving the lower layer untouched. However, the portion size was generous enough that it didn’t matter. My companion and I also ordered a couple of fruity cocktails, which were refreshing but a little too sweet. Over all? Not a destination or anything special, but a decent option for mainstream comfort food if you happen to be nearby.

The flatbread pizza was amazing! Ask for a little oil on the side to dip the crust in!!! Sweet, friendly, and attentive staff!!! Not what I expected to come from a mall restaurant!!! Can’t wait to come back :-)

Solid location with solid food. The Ceasar salad could have used a bit more croutons and less lettuce, but was still a nice starter. My chicken alfredo was quite tasty; just wished there were more of it. I feel like this place uses HUGE bowls to disguise the amount of food actually in it. Still, it was all very nice. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant and the place was spotless. A very good alternative to the food court.

I have come here for lunch on several occasions because it is so reasonably priced. Plus, you get rolls and salad! If youre there for lunch though, the sandwiches are more satisfying than the«pizza» which was miniscule. The service did take a while, as I have young children and we are usually as determined as the servers are to «eat and run.» It is a good alternative to Panera across the way if you want a little more of a relaxing sit down lunch.

Very clean place, runs well and the service is amazing. Our server was super nice and super professional. The manager visited our table and checked on our experience. The pizzas are the best around. I enjoyed our lunch experience.

My partner and I went on our first date here(don’t judge us– we’re actually reasonably classy people with fully functional tastebuds, believe it or not). Despite the terrible food, we’re still together five years later! Greasy, overly cheesy, «Italian» food that tastes like it came from the freezer aisle. And it’s in a mall. What else do you need to know?

I hadn’t been to a Bertucci’s in years but stopped in on Thursday for a quick bite(Nick and I were getting hangry at the mall). For a chain, I find it to be on the better than average side, and service is always incredibly pleasant. We started with the delicious farmhouse salad(their signature, I guess) with chopped romaine, mozzarella, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, roasted black olives, pepperoni and balsamic vinegar, then ordered a large(typical eyes bigger than stomach amateur move) barbecue chicken pizza with caramelized onions. Not only was the food pretty good, but we had ample leftovers to take home which was awesome considering I’m a late night pizza junkie. All for $ 30… not bad! If I’m wandering around starving in the mall again, I’d take this over a crappy pretzel anyday.

I know, I get it. Bertucci’s is a chain. But seriously, it is the only chain restaurant that I choose to go to time and time again. They’re doing something right. As a vegetarian, chain restaurants kind of suck when it comes to options. Not Bertucci’s. Pizza, flatbreads, pastas, salads, platters, appetizers– they have it all. And they can make it all vegetarian. I love the menuccis, or mini flatbreads, on their lunch menu. Combine that with unlimited insalata and rolls for just $ 7.99 and I’m in heaven. For dinner, my go-to is the antipasto platter on the appetizer menu, which they gladly turn into a vegetarian feast by adding more veggies and some mozzarella in place of the salami and ham. I love the service. I love the cleanliness of the restaurant. I love Bertucci’s.

The beverages(Coke, iced tea) were the only things that went well during our lunch. The salad we ordered without tomatoes? It came with tomatoes. The oven-roasted olive appetizer? The dish was molten, but the olives in the middle were cold. The ‘marinating’ was minor, and not noticeable. The chicken parmesan had provolone on top, not mozzarella, and it was from frozen. The watermelon arugula feta salad with salmon was soaked in dressing. The cucumbers were soggy & translucent without any crispiness. The feta was barely noticeable. The watermelon was okay, but you could tell it was cut a while ago and sat around. Like I said, the Coke and iced tea were wonderfully poured into tall glasses with ice. Definitely the best part of our meal.

We don’t have Bertucci’s on the west coast and I had no idea it was a chain upon arrival. However, after scoping it out for about 5 minutes I had to ask if it was a chain, and he likened Bertucci’s to a CPK, got it. Standard service, standard food, standard. Got the rigatoni and the baked tortellini, tortellini was good. And the rigatoni tasted like something i could make at home, and i dont cook very well.
