Top notch service! Every time I have ever called for a service, DR arrived within an hour. Excellent service protection plan! Never ran me dry of oil or gas. Professional and polite. Service Reps always took the time to show me and explain what they were doing and what was going on with my system. Easy to work with as I am moving and will be a return customer once my move is finalized. Very trustworthy Service Technicians. Been a customer for 8 years and no issues…

Worst company. Swindled my elderly mother out if $ 4,000 to fix her furnace. The even had the gall to charge her for the oil she used because if their mistake.

I’ve had Dead River for over 20 years and have never had a gauge or whistle on my tank. Now they are forcing me to put this on saying it isn’t code. I ask why they have been delivering without it up to code for all these years & pretty much told they needed to inforce it now. They were prepaid in Sept for 100 gallons and weren’t going to deliver it. So now they will deliver that 100 gallons but nothing after unless I now add that for $ 130.00. The customer service was aweful. The service and delivery both lack communication. I returned a call last week and left voicemail and never got called back. I haven’t had a delivery since April, so I called again today, voicemail, finally a returned call. Whole company sketchy how they start changing what has never been an issue. Maybe the price of fuel being down, they are trying to make money through service dept. I will be calling other companies!

I am located in Bow and have been doing business with fuel oil companies for years in different locations. I have a service contract with Dead River, do pre buys & have had to call the office with numerous questions every where from why did I use more oil this year to panic as I thought I was out of oil. I admit I ALWAYS pay my bills on time & have entered into the prebuy program occasionally. Yes I expect great service because of that & I always get it. I am pleasant to them and they are always to me. I am actually thinking of switching my 80lb. Irving propane over to them.
