M Nails and Spa

I got the worst manicure of my life here. My friend and I came in here today because the place we were originally heading to had a long wait and another one was closed and we really needed a mani badly.
First of all, the woman didn’t even take off all of my previous polish. Her way of «filing» my nails was running the nail file straight across my nails twice for each finger. They were all crooked. She cut exactly TWO pieces of skin out of all of my fingers. without any water. She didn’t even attempt to «pretend» to cut anything else. When she told me to go wash my hands I was appalled because she was done with all of that in no more than 5 minutes. Before she started to paint, i had to ask for her nail file to shape some of my nails. They were all crooked but I didn’t have the patience or time to fix all of them myself while she stood there and watched. She missed most of the sides of my nails when she painted and she rushed through the top coat like there’s a fire in the building. She is lucky I even gave her any type for that joke of a manicure. I am a very easy going person and will be satisfied with anything but this was horrible. I don’t like to create scenes so I just paid and left.
My friend has the same exact issues. Who gets a MANICURE and doesn’t get any cuticles or skin cut ??? It was 13 bucks for a regular manicure = her doing a horrible job and lathering my hands with lotion. Do yourself a favor and do not come here!

I’ve been going up M nail spa for a year now and have never been to a better salon. It is a relaxing and comfortable place and my nails always look as great as I feel when I leave. I highly recommend.

I went here on Friday, 2÷12÷2016. I got nail extensions with a permanent French. The total was $ 95 and change. The next day, lifting in the corners. Today is Wednesday and every nail is lifting more and more in the corners and the edges are cracking off. The nails are bumpy and uneven. I got gel hoping that it would be better than the acrylic I’ve been getting for nearly a decade. The nails I normally get at a different salon are ¹⁄₃ the price and 100 percent better. I also was a little insulted at how I was greeted. Upon arrival to my 6pm appointment. I reiterated what I was there for. And instead of being shown a chair I was told «That $ 85. Is that okay?» Maybe I’m over reacting but was it my age that allowed this comment? I wouldn’t have made an appointment if I couldn’t afford it. Not worth the time. Head down to 90s nail and spa. Cheaper and way better.

My go to nail salon! The place is clean and updated inside and the staff is nice! I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment on weekends because they tend to get busy. They don’t have a ton of gel nail colors to choose from which stinks and can become boring using the same colors all the time but there are a ton of the regular nail polish colors. They use good brands– all OPI and Essie! They actually massage your legs and feet when you get a pedicure here, unlike a lot of places that move their hands up and down two times on your feet and call it a massage.

I had been here before and their quality has reduced so much. I did French pedicure and paid almost 50 $ for that. The pedicure was the shortest I ever had. Completed within 15 mins.
Ya you get parafin wax and 30 sec shoulder message but you get better elsewhere.
Also I sat for the polish to get dried and only when they said I can leave, I left. By the time I reached home the white tips were destroyed. I am so disappointed. Total waste of money.

I’ve had a really mixed experience here at M Nails and Spa. They are very nice and they’re the closest place to my house so I wanted to keep coming, but I am only kind of pleased with the service. I really enjoy the atmosphere. The place is bright and clean.
My first time here I received a pedicure and a underarm wax. The pedicure was nice and I was satisfied with it overall, but I felt that they didn’t do as much of the foot buffing/​scraping (TMI I know) that you usually receive to leave you with super soft, callous free feet. Fortunately, I have naturally soft heels, but I imagine for a lot of ladies this wouldn’t give them the results they crave. For my underarm wax, the same woman serviced me. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name. She did a very good job actually. She’s one of the taller, thinner women there if that helps?
The second time I came I received a chin wax. This time I was not as pleased. The person who serviced me may have been the manager. She is always handling the money. She did not do as good of a job keeping the strip close to the skin when she removed it resulting in greater discomfort for me and increased redness compared with my previous chin wax at another location. She also was not as diligent about getting out the stray hairs with tweezers. That would have been fine except that after only getting out about half of the strays I was charged double for the service. I know that I have very thick, stubborn coarse hair that requires a lot of attention so I am used to paying extra for these services, but I expect that they are charging me more because they are putting in more work to give me quality results. That was not the case in this instance. I am going to keep looking around for somewhere else to go for my hair removal services.

Get away weekend with 5 friends was so enhanced by our visit to M Nails. They fit all of us in on a Saturday morning. Fantastically competent services — paraffin extra to the mani may have been the best $ 5 add on ever; so clean, pleasant, accommodating and professional. Very reasonable prices. We will be back!

Went in for a pedicure. was the shortest one I have ever had. Literally 8 minutes from the time I put my feet in the water to the time they were draining the water. that’s outrageous. For 30 $ I’d like to sit and relax. After they painted they had us put our feet under a freezing cold fan to dry. no uv lights to dry them. (it was 10 degrees outside) so that sucked to have freezing feet. Honestly I wouldn’t go back if you paid me to.

They did a great job on my gel manicure. She started right at the cuticle which I love, a lot of places start so far up it looks like you’ve already had your manicure for a week on the first day. I climbed a mountain and my polish didn’t chip — amazing!

I have been to many of the local nail salons and have decided to make M salon my go to location. When you enter, the shop is clean and bright. I have always been promptly greeted and most of the time seated right away. The specialist listen to me and seem to truly want to make the customer happy. They use OPI and Essie polish and provide a short massage while your nails dry. I noticed that my pedicures last quite a long time but my manicures are not as lucky. I’m hesitant to blame the salon. I’m very rough on my hands and do not spend the extra on gel polish (it’s not my thing). I would highly recommend the M salon. I have begun calling for a same day appointment just to avoid the possibility of a wait.

Great 2 min foot massage, but was charged for a spa pedicure without asking and didn’t get the best paint job (pic attached).This was my second visit, the first visit we were over charged for shellac fingers and toes. I called and asked the rate after we left and it was much lower than what we paid. I wouldn’t have gone back if they didn’t do a good job.
Well, it happened again and when I questioned the rate they told me because I had a spa pedicure… um…it lasted 15 mins and you washed my feet, how is this different than a regular pedicure?
Be cautious and ask the rate before the service because no rates are posted.
Two stars because we had good gel/​shellac results, but minus 3 stars for shady business practices.

Absolutely love this place. Staff is nice, place is very clean, everything is new, and my manicure lasts a week or more! I am very picky about being clean and te quality of my manicure and this place is all 5 stars.

I paid cash because no one told me it was cash only and since it was my first time there someone said it was ok. I couldnt leave a tip because i had no money left! But aside from that issue, what ur not addressing, the tip set was terrible and took 2 hrs! And i waited inbetween pedicure and that for too long! Dont double book just to get business and then expect someone to just be ok with it. Every salon says «15min» which means 30−45min. Why would i lie about how much i paid? And ive never recieved a message from anyone.

I went to this nail salon for a pedicure and gel manicure. Overall, it was ok. I was definitely rushed out of there and was quite annoyed. Not to mention, each technician chewed and snapped their gum the entire time working on my nails. It was an ok experience.

This is the first salon where I’ve had my nails done in Manchester, and it’s now the only one I frequent. There’s rarely a wait, unless you come after 5 PM (I’ve only been turned away once.). As previous Unilocalers have stated, the price of the manicures and pedicures include a shoulder rub, paraffin wax, and a hot stone massage (for pedicures). To me, this salon is well-​worth the prices.
Today, I had a gel manicure, and the manicurist was very gentle. My previous manicurist in North Carolina constantly made my cuticles bleed, but I’ve never had that problem here. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing, just as it should be.

I have never had a manicure here, so I can’t comment on that, but I have had many pedicures and they were all excellent. The staff are very friendly and they are happy to fit you in with short notice. I have never waited more than a few minutes. Highlight is the foot/​leg massage and the short (too short, alas!) back massage at the end.

Went here today for a gel manicure. The place was very clean and more upscale than some of the mall nail salons. There were no other customers when I got there so both women worked on my nails which was great because it cut down on the time. They include the nice extras that some places don’t always have — neck/​back massages, paraffin wax, etc. Will definitely go back!

Meh… OK place… have been to better. Don’t show up too close to closing time because they will rush you out! Make sure you bring cash for their tip.

Went here based on previous rave reviews and we were not disappointed. There were 3 of us and we all agreed that the place was clean, decorated nicely, very good and nice technicians and relaxing.
There were 7 pedicure chairs and several nail stations. I had a french gel manicure that is just beautiful. I would not hesitate to go here again when I am in the area.
They are located in the mall near Panera which is a easy location to get to.

My friend and I went into this place on a whim to get a pedicure and it was the best find ever! Not only is the place very clean and sophisticated looking, it doesn’t have that nail salon smell. They have big cushy massage chairs, and the basic pedicure includes leg and foot scrub, foot and leg massage, and a neck and shoulder massage while you are drying. All for $ 30! We had expected to pay close to $ 50, which we would have gladly paid. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
