Established in 1966.

Over two generations ago, Manchester Manor Health Care Center began as a small, family business. It continues to be operated by the family, and are currently owned and operated by Paul T. and Brian Liistro.

Under the same family direction since 1966, the center is proud of its reputation as a community-​oriented, professional health care organization serving the greater Hartford/​Manchester area. The facility has always been a prominent and essential link in its community healthcare continuum and today it remains a reliable post-​acute and long-​term care provider for the surrounding areas.

Business Owner

Paul T. Liistro is Managing Partner of Vernon Manor Health Center, Manchester Manor Health Center, and Arbors of Hop Brook.

As a senior business executive with extensive long-​term care and senior care services experience, Mr. Liistro serves in leadership roles within several leading health care industry organizations. He is Chair, Board of Directors for Qualidigm; Representative at-​large, Board of Governors for the American Health Care Association based in Washington, D.C.; and is a member of the Michigan-​based Board of Directors for HealthCap Liability Insurance Company. He is also immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities (2010 – 2014) as well as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Health Care and Insurance departments of UCONN. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Administrators, the Association of Long-​Term Care Financial Managers and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
