Specialties
For almost 40 years McIntyre Ski Area has been all about creating a life long love of snow sports for both children and adults. There’s no better place to learn to ski or snowboard or to polish some rusty skills than at McIntyre where the terrain is mostly for beginners to low intermediates, plus a challenging terrain park for the advanced.
We also have the best tubing park in New England with 8 lanes of variable thrill levels and a «no lines» Wonder Carpet to take tubers to the top. Try Skitübenboard™, too, a smörgåsbord of winter fun where you can try skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing for only $ 32 with rentals and learning tips included every Saturday 3:30pm-9:30pm (tips from 3:30−7pm).
With the introduction of summer activities in 2011 we’ll be providing new levels of outdoor excitement that reach across ages, athletic abilities and seasons. We’ll also host your party — from birthdays to weddings and more in our new lodge. Visit www.mcintyreskiarea.com for more information.
History
Established in 1971.
McIntyre Ski Area was established in 1971 as a community ski area for Greater Manchester, NH. In 1978 McIntyre Ski School Inc. began offering ski lessons and eventually snowboarding as well. Hundreds of thousands of children and adults have been introduced to snowsports at McIntyre — beginning a life-long love affair with New Hampshire winters.
