History

Established in 2007.

Priority Bookkeeping Service was started to help small business owners who were torn between running their businesses and keeping their finances in order. We are the accounting department small businesses choose and can afford, so that they can focus on what they do best.

Priority Tax Services (www​.pri​or​i​ty​taxser​vices​.net) was started the previous year with the same commitment to help individuals and small businesses with the complexities of filing their tax returns.

My professional background of more than 30 years in the insurance industry includes experience in financial planning, operations, marketing and management. For many years, I dreamed of utilizing my leadership and management capabilities in running my own business. It was, and still is, important to me to be able to help others succeed. In 2006, I left the corporate world behind and founded Priority Tax Services. Priority Bookkeeping Services was started the following year to help small businesses.

I hold both B.S. and M.S. degrees from Central Connecticut State University. In addition, I hold the American Society’s CLU, ChFC & REBC professional designations, and the IRS’s EA (Enrolled Agent) designation.

I am an active member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB).
