I have eaten there once and I will certainly go again. delicious meatballs(really… go for it!!!), reasonably big plates at a fair price. most of the dishes come with a big greek salad and a second side plate, so one dish will be enough for a regular person. Parmesan chicken is really huge, almost half a chicken and a full dish of pasta. very quiet place, with an vintage atmosphere, kinda boring I would say. typical greek 70s-80s restaurant. good for lunch or dinner. usually older ages. parking on street. waitress was polite and helping.

I have to give it 4 stars because the food is so good and so affordable. As others said in previous reviews, it is in dire need of remodeling, but then it wouldn’t be Steve’s. Everything there is old, even the waitresses. One of them is hard of hearing so you have to speak up. However, she is so pleasant and provides great service. I’ve been twice and will certainly be going back. Where else can you get a plate of chicken parmesan that requires a bowl for the side of pasta because there’s no room left on the plate for a total(with tax) of just under $ 12?

Decent food for a fair price. The entire restaurant is in dire need of a renovation. The sign outside is as nice as this place gets. When we go, we’re always the youngest customers usually by at least 30 years. Service is average. My favorites are the chicken parm and the kabobs. Very good baklava as well. The fried food(we’ve tried the clams and fried mushrooms) both tasted like they were freezer burnt. We like the complementary pita bread before our meal.

Went here for my grandfathers birthday. It was a random Thursday I think and only one waitress was working. It took forever to get our food and then forever to get the check. She left us with our plates the whole time and it was just crummy service. I think they need to hire more help. The Orange chicken was pretty good though. My advice would be to get takeout.

We showed up here on a snowy Saturday night and the place was deserted… literally. No other diners. The waitress, Victoria, happily welcomed us in and got us seated. She gave us some helpful suggestions about the menu. I ordered the small symphony, which was a small steak with a stuffed shrimp and a few stuffed mushrooms. I was totally happy main course, but the sides I ordered, green beans and mashed potatoes, were clearly out of a can or package. Had I ordered a baked potato and salad, I would have been very content with my whole meal. Definitely a great value for the money.

This is the second time I have eaten at Steve’s. A friend wanted to ho there do for his sake I did. I ordered the broiled haddock dinner. The haddock was quite good but the rest was quite dismal. First I had a pea soup and what was called a salad. The«salad» consisted of only iceberg lettice with a lonely small slice of tomato. this was poor. The green beans shield OK were way overcooked as were cartots. I tend to like my vegetables more cooked than raw but these were too much. My baked potatoes was damp and soggy and looked like it had never been washed. I didn’t eat any skin because of this and because It was not dry. I like a baked potato nice and dry and fluffy and white. I asked for butter and received a weird colored margarine. They told me they didn’t have any butter.

We love Steve’s House. They have the only Chicken Parmesean that my teens will eat. I dont know what they do to the ckicken to make it so moise and tender! Delicious. The staff have all been there since my parents started bringing me here back in the 1980’s. Now we bring our children and the quality, value and service is still consistantly good. Fast, fresh, and delicious!

Steve’s House was recommended by a very nice lady we met at Chez Vachon last weekend who said the fried foods were«amazing» and just a good overall family restaurant. Dennis and I wanted a quick meal tonight. We saw a exhibit down the road at the Franco-American Centre and I had this placed bookmarked to go and try out to review. This place was tucked away and hidden off Elm Street. Not very well lit, and with a very wise cracker and sharp tongued senior waitress to just pointed us to a booth upon entering. One thing I noticed right away was how inexpensive this place was. It was dark and in need of a remodel. Quite clean however. I had a chicken kabob $ 8.95 which came with split pea soup and cole slaw. The soup was made of green peas and was not too thick and was topped with croutons. The slaw was pre-made most likely purchased in bulk from a vendor. My kabob was actually very good. Grilled perfectly with onions and peppers it was well seasoned. It came with a choice of potato. Dennis had a cheeseburger and fries which was small and gone in about 5 bites. The bill came to abt. $ 16.00. $ 20 w/tip. In and out.
