Great tacos! Love this place. we need more food trucks like this around. These are the real deal. Parking can be tough but it is worth it. Only $ 2 per taco and $ 2 for Jarritos soda.

Being a Southern California native, I can say that I was quite pleased to find Tacos Nayarit after relocating to Manchester. This is Mexican food at its best. Simple, traditional, and good. Naryait may not be as good as what you can find closer to the border, but it is quite nice to find some non-Americanized Mexican food in New England.

Very nice burrito for $ 5. The senoritas were nice too. P. S. –The truck has moved to the corner of Maple and Lake.

This is a major asset for anyone interested in real Mexican food. I’ve only scratched the surface, but I love what I’ve had — the chicken and beef tacos. They use two soft corn tortillas to wrap the goodies in. There’s a mixture of fine chopped lettuce and cilantro on top of the beef or chicken, and it’s spiced with a subtle, but very pronounced hot spice. But if you’re into it, make sure they include a little container of their own hot sauce — I think it’s the best I’ve had. The beef is a chipped style as is the chicken. Another nice touch — they also give you a little ball of tinfoil wrapped radish slices with a quarter lime. I’m guessing you drip the lime on the radishes and eat them to cool your mouth afterwards. As I take the tacos home to eat, I find my superb margaritas do a much better job cooling me off! I love Mexican food, and this would be a great place to call in and order food for a get together(phone #603– 305‑1970). In this post Bush/Madoff era, when everyone is feeling the pinch, this is a great place to get terrific ethnic food at a low price and eat and drink at home for a song. The truck is owned by the same people who operate a similar truck on Pine Street in Nashua. I was talking to the woman in the Manchester truck yesterday, Virginia, and she remembered me from the Nashua truck a couple of years ago! I was impressed she remembered an old gringo like me. I’m no expert, but I seriously doubt you will find a better taco in the state of New Hampshire than what they serve here, for $ 2. Lake Av. and Union St. is in the heart of a tough neighborhood, but it’s making a comeback, and this Taco truck is helping. There is also a brand new, state of the art laundromat across the street with the best washers and dryers I’ve ever used. They do wash and fold laundry for 65 cents a pound — cheapest in the city. Olé!!!

Very good tacos, quite authentic. Personally, I prefer a(slightly) Americanized, salsa-heavier taco(These are very lightly sauced), but these are the real deal, well done and reasonably priced.

NOTE: The taco truck is gone! :( Dios Mio! There’s a TACOTRUCK in the City of Manchvegas! Taco trucks are a common sight all over SoCal, but it’s very exciting to see a taco truck parked at the corner of Lake Avenue and Union Street. This is the second taco truck in NH, the other truck is serving Nashua. There is no menu board with prices, but there’s a list of offerings on the painted on the side of the truck. The people on the taco truck speak limited English, but the order taker can understand what customers are ordering. The food served is authentic Mexican and everything is made to order. They serve up delicious street Tacos($ 2), Buritos($ 5), Torta’s($ 5), filled with your choice of fillings(rice, beans, veggies, cheese, sour cream, or EVERYTHING) and the following meats: Azada(thinly sliced beef) Adobada(pork in red chile sauce), Carnitas(braised pork) Chicharon(cracklings-pork) Lengua(tongue-beef) Cabeza(meat from cow’s head) Pollo(chicken) My favorite is the Carnitas Burito stuffed with everything, it’s huge, filling, and sooo delish!!! The soft tacos are awesome too, with a spicy kick! They also sell self serve ice cold Coke, Pepsi, and Jarritos Mexican sodas from glass bottles, and customers can eat their food from the under the order counter. Having a taco truck serving great fast food near my workplace is the closest thing to being in LA! A hands down 5STARS for the truck! CASHONLY GENERALHOURS: 10:30AM until 10:00PM(Tues-Thurs)/12:00AM(Fri-Sun)or until they sell out of food.
